Our house has an open floor plan and lots of light. We are located on a quiet dead end street perfect for families. The highlight of our house for is the large backyard, which backs up to a green space and ravine area, with a basketball court, barbeque, and a trampoline. We are also very close to Cornell, and within walking distance (.8 miles) of the stadium along a bike path. Our listing is best suited for groups of up to 7 adults or 8 people total, and up to 3 cars. The space We remodeled our home in 2016 (I am a woodworker and did much of the work myself). The downstairs has an open floor plan and new floors and cabinets. There are two bedrooms downstairs, each with a full size bed, and a full bathroom. There is a large master bedroom upstairs with a queen size bed and an office which can be used as a bedroom with a full size mattress for the floor. Upstairs has a large bathroom with a soaking tub and walk in shower. There is a guest bedroom in the basement with a full size bed as well with an adjacent TV room. Our backyard is large, and opens up to Strawberry Fields Natural Area behind it, so it feels more like a country estate (with neighbors). We have a trampoline and a basketball court. We have a grill, picnic table and other folding tables for outdoor meals. Our house is located on a quiet dead end street, and is a little less than a mile walk to Cornell campus. There are nice wilderness areas within walking distance. We have high speed wireless internet available and a washer and dryer. Guest access The entire home and property will be accessible to you during the rental, except for an apartment in the basement that we rent to a female Cornell graduate student. We have a cat that we typically find a new home for during rental, but we have left her at the house for families of cat lovers. We have hardwood floors and have a very thorough cleaning done before our rentals and so have had guests with cat allergies stay at our house many times without a problem. Other things to note For Cornell graduation weekend, we are seeking a three or four night rental. For Ithaca College graduation weekend, we are seeking a two night rental or longer. For reunion weekend rentals, our listing is best suited for groups celebrating their 20th reunion or higher.
