From the top floor of a historic Victorian farmhouse, you can watch the Bay Bridge light up against the cool spring air, then step onto your private patio or balcony for a breath of crisp San Francisco breeze. Inside, textured architecture and original artwork create a setting that feels both grounded and expressive - a peaceful retreat above the rhythm of the neighborhood. Sleeping arrangements Set on the entire second floor, this 2-bedroom, 1-bath apartment comfortably sleeps up to 4 guests. One bedroom features a Queen bed and a uniquely shaped walk-in closet, while the second offers a Full bed with nearby storage. Bed linens, extra pillows and blankets, hangers, and clothing storage including a closet and dresser are provided, along with luxury 100% Bamboo sheets linens. Essentials such as towels, soap, and toilet paper are included to help you settle in with ease. Bathroom The bathroom includes a bathtub, hot water, a hair dryer, and cleaning products. Public Goods shampoo, Public Goods conditioner, and Public Goods body soap are provided, along with other bathroom essentials for a comfortable stay. Kitchen and dining The kitchen offers a dedicated space where you can cook your own meals, with a refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, and cooking basics. A coffee maker - Keurig coffee machine - and hot water kettle are ready for slow mornings indoors. A dining table nearby serves for meals, conversation, or remote work, with Wifi available throughout the apartment. A dedicated workspace is set up in a common space with a surge protector for added convenience. Living and entertainment The living room faces the city skyline and Bay Bridge, offering garden view and city skyline view perspectives throughout the day. An HDTV with Roku and a BOSE Bluetooth sound system make it easy to unwind in the evenings, while books and reading material and a yoga mat invite slower, restorative moments. Central heating, a portable heater, and portable fans help maintain comfort during San Francisco’s shifting spring weather. Outdoor and entry Step outside to your private patio or balcony, or spend time in the Backyard - Fully fenced, an open space on the property usually covered in grass with outdoor furniture for fresh air breaks. A private entrance with separate street or building entrance allows you to come and go with ease. Other things to note Welcome to Our Home Please remember, you’re staying in a home, not a hotel. We ask that you treat our space with respect and care. Co-host Support Our wonderful co-hosts from Home Sweet Host Property Management are available to assist with anything you need during your stay. Location Our home is situated up a steep hill, with at least two hills to reach Mission Street. Access You’ll have a lockbox on the front iron gate and a private entrance to the apartment, ensuring independence and privacy. Lost keys incur a $50 replacement fee. House Rules -No parties or events -No smoking anywhere on the property, including the roof deck -No pets (we prefer no service animals due to allergies) -No packages to be mailed to the house -Please keep noise levels down after 9:00 pm (the apartment is above a house in a residential area) Important Details Please note that there are at least 12 shallow steps leading up to the apartment. While they’re easy to navigate, we ask that you take care when using them. Parking: 2-hour limit between 8 am–6 pm, free from 6 pm–8 am. You’ll need to move your car every two hours during the day (common in San Francisco) Children & Pets We love children and pets but prefer no children under 12 due to a sliding glass door that doesn’t lock and our allergies to pets.
