Rural retreat guest room in Vermont

Comfy large bedroom with queen bed, chair and small desk area. Near Plainfield Vermont Village (about 2.5 miles, dirt road), 10 miles to Montpelier, and 1/2 hour to St. Johnsbury. Plenty of hiking, biking, exploring nearby, including the Town Forest (abutting the property) Groton State Forest and the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail (15-20 minute drive to Joe's Pond to access the LVRT). I have two dogs, Sadie and Jolene, who like to meet visitors. You need to like dogs to stay here! The space Lovely room with comfy queen bed, desk, chair, place to hang your clothes and rest your head! The bathroom across the hall is for your private use during your visit. Guest access Private bath, wifi, small sitting area. I allow limited access to the kitchen (you can put a few items in the fridge if you'd like, there's a toaster and microwave you can use, etc.) I prefer if you don't eat meals in your room - mice love old farmhouses! During your stay I'm usually around or available by phone if needed. I'll leave other contact numbers if I'm not going to be somewhere with cell/internet service.
