Walk to dozens of restaurants, hop a bus to campus, or take the bike trail to the stadium, arboretum, & parks. Huge sun room, an ideal entertainment & gathering space! Sleeps 10 (3 queen beds, 1 queen futon, 1 queen air mattress). We live very close by and we'll go out of our way to ensure you have a great stay in Happy Valley! Rates vary based on demand for prime weekends. Quaint neighborhood, established perennial gardens, and a spacious private back yard make this a wonderful setting for any gathering. Hardwood floors, large dining table, incredible sun room, and comfortable furnishings will make you feel right at home. We've incorporated some re-use in our home, to give it a unique feel, in addition to hints of blue & white throughout. Guests have complete access to the entire house. Some original families still reside here, and many young families have moved in with kids. Gardens and trees abound. There is no thru-traffic, so it is very quiet. Neighborhood parks bookend our development. Dozens of restaurants, many stores, and services are within a 2-3 block radius. The original Waffle Shop is a short walk away! The location can't be beat - just far enough away from campus traffic, but close to all the necessities. The MegaBus stops at the Walmart 2 blocks away. The CATA town bus stop and bike trail to campus adjoin our neighborhood. Walk to campus (slow pace ~20 min.), take a bike (or rent one downtown), or hop a bus one block away (weekend service most available for large events like football games).
