As a budget-controlled apartment, it seeks to provide you with all the basic comforts for a pleasant vacation, close to the beach and the main attractions of Albufeira. Other things to note IMPORTANT NOTE APPLICATION OF THE NEW TOURIST TAX IN ALBUFEIRA 2 EUROS PER NIGHT / PER GUEST, UP TO A MAXIMUM OF 7 NIGHTS As of May 2nd, the Municipality of Albufeira will be applying the tourist tax to guests. I will give my guests all the information they need to make the payment during their stay. Hosts are not yet able to charge guests this fee through Airbnb. Thank you WHAT TO EXPECT? - A nice, well-decorated studio apartment, approved by previous guests with five-star reviews. WHAT TYPE OF PROPERTY? Apartment with an open living room and bedroom area. The apartment has a full bathroom and a kitchen equipped with all the basic necessities for daily use. The apartment has a balcony (with a side table and a chair). WHAT IS THE LOCATION? Rua Samora Barros, number 32, 8200-178 - Albufeira HOW FAR IS IT TO THE BEACH? Five to ten minutes on foot to Peneco Beach and Fishermen's Beach. WHAT ARE THE NEAREST GROCERY STORES? Two local supermarkets 100 meters away, Intermarche supermarket, Lidl supermarket and Aldi supermarket. WHAT KIND OF RESTAURANTS CAN I FIND NEARBY? You can find all kinds of restaurants for all price ranges. You will mostly find Portuguese food restaurants. You can also find self-service, takeaway, Italian, Mexican, Indian, Chinese, or even fast food restaurants such as McDonald's or KFC. DOES THE APARTMENT HAVE INTERNET AND TV? Yes, the apartment is equipped with Wi-Fi internet and TV (main Portuguese channels). HOW DO I GET THE APARTMENT KEYS? Check-in is autonomous, before arrival I send all the information so you can collect the keys to the apartment, which will be in a key safe next to the apartment door. You will have access to the building with a code, which you will have to enter at the entrance. On the day of check-in, I will be available to help if needed. IS IT POSSIBLE TO CHECK IN OR CHECK OUT OUTSIDE THE STIPULATED HOURS? Yes, I will be happy to help and make schedules more flexible whenever possible. Just let me know in advance and I'll see how I can help. WHAT ABOUT SAFETY? Thinking about the safety of my guests, the apartment is all electric, with no gas installation. In the apartment you can also find a fire extinguisher, a fire blanket and a first aid kit. HOW FAR IS IT FROM THE AIRPORT (FARO)? Thirty-six kilometers - about thirty to forty minutes by car. HOW CAN I GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE APARTMENT? Booking a shuttle service (from the airport to the apartment address), renting a car (available at the airport), using a taxi, bus or Uber service. HOW DO I CHOOSE A TRANSFER SERVICE? I will be happy to advise you, based on feedback from previous guests. IS BEDDING INCLUDED? Yes, you will find at your disposal a set of sheets per bed, as well as a hand and bath towel for each of the guests. For extended stays, I leave extra clothes at the disposal of my guests. WHAT OTHER EXTRAS CAN I FIND? - Outdoor table and chair - Baby highchair (on request) WHAT EXTRAS ARE AVAILABLE FOR RENT? - Portable internet to take internet signal wherever you want. - Cleaning during the stay (per hour) or end-of-stay cleaning. HOW SHOULD THE APARTMENT BE RETURNED AT THE END OF THE STAY? At the end of the stay, the apartment must be returned in a tidy state, with a clean and tidy kitchen. Please do not remove the bed linen (no need to wash) and towels should be left in the bathroom (no need to wash). Please note that a low cleaning fee is charged for these minimum rules at the end of the stay. If my guests prefer, they can request a full cleaning service for an extra 20.00 euros. In this situation, it is sufficient that the request is made up to one day before the end of the stay. I'll take care of everything, so you don't have to worry about tidying up the apartment and cleaning the kitchen. IS THE APARTMENT AVAILABLE FOR LONGER STAYS? WHAT SHOULD I BE AWARE OF? - As far in advance as possible, please inform me of your expected time of arrival and departure from Albufeira. - Check-in and check-out times are flexible and may be changed according to availability and if agreed in advance. WHAT TO DO DURING MY STAY? - Enjoy the Algarve sun on one of the many award-winning beaches. - Eat out and try Portuguese food, such as grilled meat and fresh fish from the Algarve. - Drive around and discover the Algarve region. - Visit a water park (Zoomarine, Aquashow, ...) - Go hiking along the various walking routes in the area. - Take a boat tour along the coast of Albufeira. - Visit the Galé and Benagil caves by boat. - Take a tour of the city on the tourist train. - Stroll through the old town of Albufeira (Fishermen's Beach). - Take a picture at the "Pau da Bandeira" Viewpoint in the old town. - Shopping at the Algarve Shopping mall - Albufeira (one hundred and ten shops, restaurants, and movie theaters in English). - Go to the cinema to see the latest movies (movies in Portugal are shown in English, with Portuguese subtitles). - Play bowling at the Albufeira Marina. - Visit the International Sand Sculpture Festival (FIESA). - Visit one of the islands of Ria Formosa. - Visit VilaMoura Marina. - Visit Silves and its Castle. - Visit Paderne Castle.
