Being a budget-controlled apartment, it seeks to provide you with all the basic comforts for a pleasant vacation, close to the beach and the main attractions of Albufeira. Other things to note IMPORTANT NOTE APPLICATION OF THE NEW TOURIST TAX IN ALBUFEIRA 2 EUROS PER NIGHT / PER GUEST, UP TO A MAXIMUM OF 7 NIGHTS From 2 May, the Municipality of Albufeira will be applying the tourist tax to the guests. I will give my guests all the information necessary for payment to be made during the stay. It is not yet possible for hosts to charge this fee to hosts through Airbnb. Thank you WHAT TO EXPECT? - A nice and well decorated apartment studio, approved by previous guests with five star reviews. WHAT KIND OF PROPERTY? Apartment with an open living room and bedroom area. The apartment has a full bathroom and a kitchen equipped with all the necessities for daily use. Apartment has a balcony (with a side table and a chair). WHAT IS THE LOCATION? Rua Samora Barros, number 32, 8200-178 - Albufeira HOW FAR TO THE BEACH? Five to ten minutes walk to Peneco Beach and Fisherman's Beach. WHAT ARE THE NEAREST SUPERMARKETS? Two local supermarkets 100 meters away, Intermarche supermarket, Lidl supermarket, and Aldi supermarket. WHAT KIND OF RESTAURANTS DO I FIND CLOSE BY? You'll be able to find all kind of restaurants for all price ranges. You'll find most Portuguese food restaurants. You'll also find self service, take away, Italian, Mexican, Indian, Chinese, or even fast food restaurants like McDonald's or KFC. DOES THE APARTMENT HAVE INTERNET AND CABLE TV? Yes, the apartment is equipped with wifi internet and cable TV (more than one hundred channels, with the most varied languages). HOW ARE THE APARTMENT KEYS DELIVERED TO ME The checkin is autonomous, before arrival I send all the information so that you can collect the keys to the apartment, which will be in a key lockbox next to the apartment door. You will have access to the building with a code, which you will have to enter at the entrance. On the day of check-in I will be reachable, to help if needed. IS IT POSSIBLE TO CHECK IN OR CHECK OUT OUTSIDE THE STIPULATED TIMES? Yes, I will be happy to help and make schedules more flexible whenever possible. Just let me know in advance and I'll see how I can help. WHAT ABOUT SAFETY? Thinking about the safety of my guests, the apartment is all tram, and there is no gas installation. In the apartment you can also find a fire extinguisher, a fire blanket and a first aid box. HOW FAR IS THE AIRPORT (FARO)? Thirty-six kilometers - about a thirty to forty minutes drive. HOW CAN I GO FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE APARTMENT? Booking a transfer service (from the airport to the apartment address), renting a car (available at the airport), using a taxi, a bus or an Uber service. HOW TO CHOOSE TRANSFER SERVICE? I will be happy to advise you, based on the feedback from previous guests. IS BED LINEN INCLUDED? Yes, you will find at your disposal a set of sheets per bed, as well as a hand and bath towel for each of the guests. For extended stays, I leave extra clothes at the disposal of my guests. WHAT OTHER EXTRAS WILL I BE ABLE TO MEET? - Outdoor table and high chair - high baby chair (on request) WHAT EXTRAS ARE AVAILABLE FOR RENT? - portable internet to bring internet signal wherever you like. - Cleaning during the stay (per hour) or end-of-stay cleaning. HOW SHOULD THE APARTMENT BE RETURNED AT THE END OF THE STAY? At the end of the stay the apartment must be returned in a tidy state, with a clean and tidy kitchen. Please do not remove linens from the bed (no need to wash) and towels should be left in the bathroom (no need to wash). Please note that a low cleaning fee is charged, for these minimum rules at the end of your stay. If my guests prefer, they can request a full cleaning service for an extra 20.00 euros. In this situation, it is enough that the request is made by the day before the end of the stay. I will take care of everything, without having to worry about the arrangement of the apartment and cleaning the kitchen. IS THE APARTMENT AVAILABLE FOR LONGER STAYS? Yes there are special conditions for longer stays. WHAT SHOULD I HAVE IN ATTENTION? - As far in advance as possible, please let me know of your ETABufeira ETA. - Check-in and check-out time is flexible and may be changed depending on availability and if agreed in advance. WHAT TO DO DURING MY STAY? - Enjoy the Algarve sun in one of the many award-winning beaches. - Eat out and try Portuguese food, such as grilled meat and fresh Algarve fish. - Walk by car and discover the region of Algarve. - Visit a water park (Zoomarine, Aquashow, ...) - Hiking along the various pedestrian paths in the region. - Take a boat trip along the Albufeira coast. - Visit the Galé and Benagil caves by boat. - Take a walk around town on the tourist train. - Stroll through the old city of Albufeira (Praia dos Pescadores). - Take a photo at the "Pau da Bandeira" Viewpoint in the old town. - Shopping at the Algarve Shopping Mall - Albufeira (one hundred and ten shops, restaurants, and movie theaters in English). - Go to the cinema to see the latest films (films in Portugal are broadcast in English, with caption in Portuguese). - Play Bowling in the Marina of Albufeira. - Visit the International Sand Sculpture Festival (FIESA). - Visit one of the islands of Ria Formosa. - Visit VilaMoura Marina. - Visit Silves and its Castle. - Visit Paderne Castle.
