Casa Rosaria is located in the heart of Taormina, on the main street, Corso Umberto I. Within walking distance you can reach the Public Gardens, the Roman Theater, Palazzo Corvajia, Ancient Theater and Naumachie. Casa Rosaria has two double bedrooms, one twin bedroom and two bathrooms. A large kitchen with dining area and a terrace where you can have lunch or dinner outdoors. It has air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. The space The House has belonged to the current owners since 1954, when Nonna Rosaria bought the building that had belonged to the noble Cartella Family since 1875, whose coat of arms can still be admired in the center of the portico leading to the courtyard in front of the House. From the back of the House, comfortably relaxing on the large terrace, it is possible to admire a glimpse of the Naumachie of the Roman era, probably used as a Gymnasium and today as a wonderful setting of one of the central neighborhoods of Taormina, the so-called "Giardinazzo", which owes its name to the large citrus groves that once stretched between the houses. Casa Rosaria is just a short walk from nightclubs, restaurants, pubs, shops and despite its central location remains a hidden place to enjoy tranquility after a long day spent at the beach, reachable in a few minutes by cable car or shuttle, just 150 meters away. And it was the terrace of Casa Rosaria that was built by Grandma on one of these gardens that for many years housed a famous restaurant owned by the family itself. A restaurant that, despite overlooking Largo Santa Caterina, had a secluded garden, a quiet meeting place with tables arranged under a large fig tree, which was graced by the greatest stars of world cinema and Italian song, in what were the wild and wonderful years of La Dolce Vita. At the most secluded table in the left corner always sat Yul Brynner, the Ramses of the Ten Commandments, with his mysterious demeanor; among the central tables, instead, the charming Alberto Lupo, always cheerful and cordial.
