Resting just below the blue ridge parkway and overlooking the beautiful fields and public trails of Warren Wilson College this mountain retreat is surrounded by adventurous opportunity. Enjoy some locally roasted coffee while watching the sunrise hit the mountains peaking through a misty morning at our mountain home. The space This listing is for an entirely private top floor, the bottom floor is rented full time by Ben, one of the hosts. Guests will have the upstairs to themselves, with a private parking area and entrance, there are no shared spaces. The master bedroom has a 14" Wellsville king size bed with immediate access to the private outdoor deck and windows overlooking the Swannanoa Valley. A walk in cedar closet houses extra linens, hangers and shelves.The bathroom has a large double vanity, a soaker tub and a shower with two body jets and two shower heads. The living space has high ceilings and lets in beautiful natural light. The suite is furnished with a full kitchen, dining space and living area with a 65" 4K tv, modern appliances and a wood stove for guests to use. Enjoy long range views on the deck with outdoor speakers, a pellet grill and a dining set. Small walking trails around the property lead to a wooded firepit area and hammocks. Guests can also walk along the private road and enjoy the seclusion of the mountaintop property. The upstairs and downstairs suites are entirely private and separated. Guest access 4WD is required between the months of December to March. The road up to the lodge is steep and narrow in places. There is private parking for up to 2 vehicles for upstairs guests above the house.
