New in 2026: no pets. LIVE MUSIC on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday nights! This is a private room above our licensed bar, Bongopix Tavern. We serve food, alcohol, and espresso coffee 3 nights a week (Tues/Fri/Sat). Enjoy Algonquin Park during the day. Party at the Tavern at night! All guests must be age 19+ The space This is a private room above Bongopix Tavern, the live music hub of Algonquin. This room includes 1 queen bed and private bathroom. Included: bedding, pillows (one per person), towels, and hand soap (no shampoo). Also included: mini fridge with small freezer, private mini propane BBQ, bbq tongs/flipper, coffee maker, coffee grinds, coffee filter, kettle, mugs, paper plates, and bamboo cutlery. We are a social place. Live music is on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday nights until 12am. We permit cannabis, tobacco, and alcohol consumption on our property within designated areas. Please enjoy responsibly. If you attend the Tavern, you must purchase from the bar (no outside food or drink at the Tavern). All overnight guests must be 19+. Unfortunately we cannot make any exceptions to this rule, so please don't inquire if you're travelling with anyone under the age of 19 (including infants). Bongopix is for music lovers, nature lovers, and social adults. Guest access - You can freely drink, smoke, and eat on the shared patio directly outside your room. If you attend the Tavern downstairs, you must purchase from the bar (no outside food or drink at the Tavern). - Included: Mini fridge with small freezer, private mini propane BBQ, bbq tongs/flipper, coffee maker, coffee grinds, coffee filter, kettle, mugs, paper plates, and bamboo cutlery. - During spring/summer, each room has its own complimentary private canoe. Your lifejackets and paddles will be in the room closet (please return when finished). Your canoe will be at our waterfront. - You have free access to our waterfront. Our waterfront is shared with other Bongopix guests. During the spring/summer you can swim or sunbathe at the waterfront. You can freely enjoy alcohol, tobacco and cannabis at our waterfront. - If you want to have a private campfire, we have 2 firepits that you can use (bring your own wood for private campfires). You can freely enjoy alcohol, tobacco and cannabis at your private campfire. - Bongopix Tavern hosts a public campfire on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday nights. If you attend the public Bongopix campfire, we provide the wood, but drinks/food must be purchased at the bar. Smoking (cannabis or tobacco) is not allowed at the public Bongopix Tavern campfire. You may smoke at the designated smoking area near the patio during the public campfire at the Tavern. Other things to note Live music is on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday nights downstairs at the Tavern. Bring ear plugs if you want to sleep early. Your room is directly above the Tavern. The Tavern closes at 12am, and the noise generally stops around 12:30am. By Ontario health law, you cannot smoke on the Bongopix Tavern patio (open on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday nights). If you attend Bongopix Tavern, you can smoke tobacco or cannabis in the nearby designated smoking area. Water is safe to drink! We filter and regularly test our water, it is certified safe to drink by a government lab analysis. You can fill water at our tap. Please reduce waste, don't bring bottled water. What to eat? PICNIC FOOD! Food ideas: 1. Cook on your private propane BBQ (Sausages, hot dogs, burgers, corn, etc) 2. Bring ready-to-eat food like sandwiches, veggies/fruits, and snacks (you have a mini fridge with a small freezer). 3. 3 restaurants within walking distance. Business hours are limited and change frequently, so verify Mad Musher and Algonquin Lunch Bar hours in advance. Bongopix Tavern serves food/drink on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday evenings.
