Lovely stone house standing 50m above Lochalsh in its own secluded grounds. Sleeps 5-7. Magnificent views of sea and the mountains of Skye. Surrounded by the National Trust for Scotland gardens. Extremely private, but only 3-4 minutes by car to Kyle of Lochalsh which has a railway station, shops and an excellent supermarket. There is a smaller supermarket and Post Office about a mile away. Our large garden is planted with Camellias and mature species Rhododendrons from Bhutan, China and Nepal The space Doubled glazed with fitted carpets throughout; night storage heating and wood/coal burning stoves; both off-peak and instant electric hot water. If you want to keep in touch, we have free Fast Fibre broad band Wi-Fi. It is a wonderful location with great privacy. Other things to note We have a well-equipped kitchen with all cooking basics: pots and pans, lots of cutlery, glasses, crockery etc- just as you would expect at home. Like most owners, we are advised not to provide perishable foodstuffs such as oil or milk for health and safety reasons. We provide an electric drip filter coffee machine, but not coffee or tea.
