For the keen fisherman the popular Waitahanhui stream is a 10 minute drive away or you can head down the lake to Turangi to visit the "Trout fishing capital of the world" For Ski enthusiasts take a drive to the Tongariro National Park where there are Ski fields to choose from or in summer take on the challenge of the Tongariro Crossing, considered the best one day hike in New Zealand Other things to note • Please note, there may be personal belongings in the home, it is a traditional Kiwi holiday home. • Due to internal stairs and balconies, this home is not suitable for small children. • We have a strict no large group or parties policy, disruption to the neighbours will not be tolerated. If we are notified of parties or illegal activity you will be evicted. • The guest named on the booking is responsible for the property for the duration of the stay and must take all reasonable care of the house. • For breakages or damages be aware that you will be charged for the repair or replacement plus a 10% handling fee. • It's your responsibility to familiarise yourself with potential hazards or situations during the stay and take appropriate care or actions if needed. • All properties must be left reasonably clean and tidy, ensuring all furniture and appliances are returned to where they were. • A general service clean is included, but if the property requires extra cleaning, you could be charged an additional $50.00 per hour, this includes BBQ’s, excess rubbish, soiled linen and odour removal. • All bookings are accepted on the basis that you have read, understand, and agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions and House Rules.
