The School House Chewton

Converted schoolroom from the 1960's with hints of mid century decor and luxury finishes, this charming self contained property is located in Chewton, a few minutes drive from Castlemaine. The space A quiet setting on the owner's fenced property you have use of the BBQ and any of the veggies in the garden. Your own outdoor dining area overlooks the roses and veggie garden. The Wesley Hill market is popular with locals and is on every Saturday morning. Tea/coffee and breakfast staples are included in the well equipped kitchenette. Continuous Wi-Fi and Chromecast are available during your stay. Pets welcome. Access to outdoor BBQ also welcome! Guest access The building is separate from the main house and you have plenty of room to enjoy a drink or meal at the outdoor seating area in the garden. Other things to note The accommodation has a fully fitted kitchenette with fridge, microwave, toaster oven, kettle and toaster plus all the crockery cutlery you will need for your stay. An electric blanket, two split system air con units will keep you warm in Winter plus there are extra blankets. The entrance is on the right hand side of the building, down a couple of steps and next to the water tank. Please be aware that we are in the country and kangaroos are around. I suggest you have your dog on a leash at night when in the garden and I would prefer dogs not left unattended in the garden. I did have a guest ask if the kangaroos jumped the fence, yes they do!
