This home can be a romantic weekend getaway for two, or a fun filled family vacation destination. We welcome every race, every nation, every tribe! The space You’re invited to experience a relaxing, and rejuvenating get away in the, "LoveShine Garden House." We are at the foothills of the Olympic Mountains, and a two minute walk to the beach. We are tucked inside the rain shadow of the Olympic Mountains, and in an area known as, "Shine.” The Olympic Rain Shadow, is a small region Northwest of the city of Seattle, and is known to experience dryer and brighter weather than Seattle, and surrounding areas. We are one mile West of the Hood Canal Bridge, and easily accessible, as we are a short drive to and from the ferry’s. Surround yourself with stunning water views of the Hood Canal, and the Olympic Mountains. We are within close proximity to many amenities, including the beach, mountains, dinning, shopping, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, festivals, live music, 4 wedding venues, wine tours, whale watching tours, water trails, Olympic hot springs, day hikes, waterfalls, extensive biking PLUS, bike trails, golfing, boating, fishing, shellfishing, scenic drives, Olympic game farm, and gambling casinos. We are a short drive to the Norwegian town of Poulsbo, the Victorian town of Port Townsend, the Lavender capital of Sequim, Port Gamble, Silverdale, Port Angeles, and Bainbridge Island, just to name a few. There is, literally, so much fun to be had. Or just relax, and grab your cup of tea, or enjoy a glass of wine on your very own large ‘hand stamped’ private patio, while watching the beautiful Hood Canal. Enjoy Eagles, Blue Heron, and Hawks soaring above, as the sky changes, and sunset cast its hues. Relax in the hammock, listening to the buzz of the Hummingbirds wings, as they fly by, and you are serenaded to rest, by bird's song. Watch an endless sea of stars appear, as the Big Dipper hangs above. Rejuvenate inside and stay warm with, 'two' curved wall mount fireplaces, inviting leather couches and oversize leather chair, for ample seating and plenty of space, to reconnect with family and friends. There are USB port plug-in's throughout the home, for your charging need's. There is three heat pump units, to keep it at just the right temperature, as there is heat and AC. There is also a curved 55 inch UHD 4K TV, for your viewing pleasure, with a Bluetooth sound bar. The dinning table seats six comfortably, as you can enjoy your meals in style. You can also enjoy the inlaid wooden Chess and Checker table, and games. The kitchen suite, has Cognac Maple cupboards, with Stainless steel appliances. There is everything you need to make your delicious meals. There is coffee/tea provided, with spices, and oils for cooking. I will provide breakfast upon request. When in season, we share our garden harvest to add to, or compliment your meals. There will be a chalkboard upon arrival, listing what is fresh, and in season, in the garden. The motto is, 'Sharing is caring.' The master suite, has a king size, sea breeze pillow top, memory foam mattress, with a king down comforter, and plenty of blanket/pillows, to keep you feeling cozy. There is a dresser drawers, and two night tables, with lamps for reading. There is a big walk in closet, for the longer stays. The king suite also has its own heat pump for absolute climate control. The guest room is as relaxing as it looks. There is a Cherrywood full pillow top and twin mattress Bunkbed, with a cherry Armoire, for clothes, storage, and all your guest needs. The sleeper sofa is a 4 inch memory foam sleeper, with warm and cozy bedding/pillows. The bathroom has a custom floor to ceiling shower, sink, toilet, and all fixtures. It feels roomy, light, and fresh. Your patio; There is a 6 person fire table, and a stainless steel BBQ, for your barbecue needs. It has beautiful plants, and plenty of evening lighting. It is truly an Oasis. (Seasonal, due to the Northwest inclement winter weather) Come spend some time on, "Shine." We would love to have you! Guest access There is free ample off street parking, on our property. You will have exclusive access to the lower guest suite of the main house, with a totally private separate entrance. Other things to note Pets live on this property. A sweet Chihuahua mix and a cat, that thinks he's a dog- We do not allow our animals in the guest suite, as we are sensitive to guest's needs. Our animals are here, and love to visit, if guest desire to do so.
