This tax is applied on overnight stays for a maximum of 7 consecutive nights to clients who do not reside in the Municipality of Florence. The tax for this accommodation facility is 4 euros per person, per night. These are the following exemptions: a) children under age 12; b) people assisting hospitalized patients near sanitary facilities in the territory, even if they are just in the hospital for the day, up to a maximum of two companions per patient; c) patients that are in medical treatment for the day; d) students attending the Università degli Studi di Firenze.
