Magpie Creek Farmstay - Family Unit

Located in the hinterland - Gold Coast, 30K/M from Nerang, our farmstay is set on 55 acres. The Family unit can accommodate 2 x couples and 4 singles, the unit has kitchenette & dining, lounge and bathroom. Guests share the deck, BBQ and pool if there are other guests staying. The bathroom has a large claw foot bath/hand held shower head. There is no separate shower. Living on a farm - sometimes it's dusty and there's spiderwebs, flies and mosquitoes be prepared for country living. The space The family unit is ideal for groups of people. Our farm is home to several racing Thoroughbred horses, we've also got chickens and 2 little dogs. Guests can enjoy watching the ducks and the birds in nature, or the horses roaming around the paddocks. We invite guests to come and feed the horses daily with us. Our guests often enjoy just sitting on the deck, relaxing, and swimming in the pool. Guest access Our property is a 100+ year old farmstead, it's been split into 3 totally separate units, when you book the family unit, you have all of your own services, bathroom, kitchenette, TV. The unit is air conditioned. You will share the outside areas, deck and pool with other guests. Other things to note The units are self contained and self service. Linen and Towels are provided, so just bring yourself and your food. The kitchenette has basic cooking facilities - including fridge, toaster, microwave, and fry pan. There's lots to explore around Canungra, Tamborine and the Gold Coast. Albert River Winery is 4k/m up the road, and the Canungra Hotel is a great place for a delicious meal. Guests are welcome to bring one small dog. (up to 10kg) - Dogs must be kept on the lead whenever they are outside, and must be house trained, as they will be sleeping inside with you. Always have your tick protection up to date if you are bringing a dog to the farm.
