It was located at the eastern terminus of the Staunton and James River Turnpike and served as home to a blacksmith who catered to that traffic. Long abandoned the current owner had to fight to save it from demolition Guest access The main floor is reserved for guests. If needed there is a coin washer and dryer in a neighboring property. The rest of the house I use for storage Other things to note The house is located short drives from Monticello, Highland, Charlottesville, University of Virginia, Hatton Ferry, Walton's Mountain and Appomattox Courthouse.
