This ca 1840 house, listed on the National Register of Historic Place as part of the Scottsville Historic District, has been completely renovated. It is located in historic Downtown Scottsville. Within walking distance are four restaurants and a brewery. A grocery store and other restaurants also a short drive away. A nature area with trails is also nearby. It has a kitchen, dining and living area. WiFi. If this house is already reserved, I have other properties that could be available. The space The house is one of the oldest in Scottsville. It was located at the eastern terminus of the Staunton and James River Turnpike and served as home to a blacksmith who catered to that traffic. Long abandoned the current owner had to fight to save it from demolition Guest access The main floor is reserved for guests. If needed there is a coin washer and dryer in a neighboring property. The rest of the house I use for storage Other things to note The house is located short drives from Monticello, Highland, Charlottesville, University of Virginia, Hatton Ferry, Walton's Mountain and Appomattox Courthouse.
