Secluded yet close to everything! Welcome to our little piece of paradise in the mountains of Boone NC! Far enough from civilization to be secluded yet close enough to town & local attractions to be convenient! Every amenity included to make your stay comfortable, pleasant & stress free including hot tub, gas fireplace inside and fire pit outside. The space I’ve tried to make the cabin as welcoming and cozy as possible. It is my vacation home too so I decorated and supplied with that in mind. Guest access Hurricane recovery update: From our Boone Area Chamber of Commerce with Town of Boone North Carolina and Explore Boone: We welcome Appalachian State students back to Boone and our fall visitors are beginning to seek the beauty of autumn in the mountains once again. Thanks to the tireless work of utility and construction crews, Boone and Blowing Rock have largely recovered from the storm’s impacts. Primary and most secondary roads have been repaired, though occasional lane closures and the need for alternate routes still exist in many areas. Many of our retail and restaurant partners are open for business, including those in downtown Boone as well as other popular areas across the community. Please note that a curfew remains in effect from 11PM to 7AM daily throughout Watauga County A Mountain Dream Cabin itself is fine too. Had a tree come thru the back porch roof but that has been patched. In the grand scheme of things we were very blessed/lucky that that was all the damage we incurred. The resilience of our community and the outpouring of support from off the mountain has gotten us to this point. With all that being so eloquently said, we welcome you back to our community with open arms.
