STA License # ST-2020-0110 R1 The space Inspired by the owners’ love for gardening the Gardener’s Room is the most spacious of the 3 rooms at AWAY and includes a king size bed. The picture window offers an expansive view of the property and lake and provides a front row seat to the most spectacular sunsets in the County. The relaxed sitting areas, high ceilings and large bathroom with heated floors, a soaker tub and walk in shower offers guests a stress free oasis. The Gardener's room is popular for honeymoons, anniversaries and those special romantic get-aways. Maximum Occupancy 2 adults. Guest access There is a screened in porch and 2nd floor deck accessable to all our guests. There are numerous outdoor seating areas including a deck and dock and firepit by the water's edge. Each room comes with two bath robes, a picnic basket and blanket so that you can put together your own picnic. We also supply you with a beach pass to visit the beautiful beaches of Sandbanks Provincial Park, 10 minutes from our front door. Free wifi! During your stay You are given a door code upon arrival so that you can freely enter and exit at your leisure and a key to your room suite. We see you every morning at breakfast. 8:30 am Coffee and Tea & muffins are served, sit down breakfast at 9 am from a choice menu that offers a sweet or savory breakfast that changes daily using produce from the AWAY gardens. We accommodate all dietary restrictions and allergies. We live on the property and offer a concierge service to help you plan your stay. Other things to note We are both creative people. Our home, which we built oursleves reflects this. Special attention has been paid to details of your environment to provide you a comfortable and relaxing stay. Covid-19 Protocol We are all in this together. Here is what we are doing to make your stay a safe and comfortable one: We preform daily screening of ourselves and our guests. We will be wearing a face covering while inside the Bed & Breakfast and will sanitize our hands regularly. All high touch areas in the interior common areas will be sanitized regularly. Breakfast will be served safely with social distancing in mind at a location and time determined by your hosts. We are taking Friday\Saturday and Sunday bookings only. The rooms are then left to air out and rest for 48 hours, and then are cleaned and sanitized using recommended cleaning products with your safety in mind. Here is what we expect from our guests: All guests must wear masks while entering\exiting our Bed & Breakfast and inside common areas. All guests must provide their full name and phone number for possible contact tracing. Regular hand sanitizing is required especially prior to entering our premises. In your private suite no masks are required or on the grounds outside. All guests are to practice social distancing with others outside of their travel group. Any guest that does not follow the protocol outlined above will be required to leave the premises and the full amount will be charged for your stay. Please note we are only offering accommodation to Canadian residents. We are unable to offer accommodation to visitors from the US or international destinations at this time.
