This cosy retreat is an excellent choice for couples looking for a romantic break or small families looking for a relaxing holiday close to the North Devon coast. It is modern and contemporary barn conversion that has been stylishly furnished and tastefully decorated throughout. From its own private entrance, the hallway leads up into an open plan living space, where you'll find a dining table, well-equipped modern kitchen and a comfy lounge area. The lounge features a two-seater sofa, two armchairs, a wood-burning stove and flatscreen TV with access to Netflix. There are also double doors which open out onto a Juliette balcony that overlooks the courtyard. A modern kitchen includes integrated appliances such as an oven with hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and a washing machine. There is also a Nespresso coffee machine with complimentary pods provided. A charming shabby-chic round dining table comfortably seats 4 in front of the double frosted patio doors. On the first floor, the master bedroom has a double bed, and the second bedroom has handy zip and link beds so can be made up as either a double or twin depending on your requirements. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with large walk-in showers. Outside, it has its own private terrace but also shares the large communal gardens which feature an orchard and stream. Two dogs are welcome at Kittiwake Cottage. Please note: there is an additional charge of £30 per dog per booking. Please request at time of booking. Payment must be received prior to arrival. Guest access Guests have access to the entire cottage, terrace and communal gardens. Other things to note Guests will share the communal gardens with those staying at Kittiwake House.
