Old St. Michaels is a beautiful Victorian self-catering apartment in a listed former Manse on the edge of Crieff. Generously proportioned rooms, high ceilings and ornate cornices give the flat a touch of luxury and make for comfortable, airy living. It is an ideal place to relax, unwind and recharge your batteries. Friendly local shops and a variety of excellent restaurants are within short walking distance. Castles, gardens, golf courses and beautiful walks are all close by. The space We've been letting our self-catering flat since 2004. It is a beautiful, light-filled, airy and spacious ground-floor apartment with high ceilings, ornate cornices and other original features. We have a 4-star rating from Visit Scotland. Entry to the flat is via the stately main entrance which leads you into the spacious, central hall. To the right is the large living room with bay-window, beautiful cornicing and living-flame gas fire. The bay-window acts as a real sun trap and the fire is ideal for cosy nights in. There is a new 40-inch Smart TV with Sound Bar as well as a large selection of books, DVDs and a folder with a wealth of information on things to do as well as walk descriptions and local OS maps. A generous master bedroom with big windows contains a beautiful king-size four poster bed and an extra day bed, so can also be used as a twin or family room. An old antique wardrobe as well as an antique dressing table provide ample storage and the room also has a huge comfy sofa. The twin bedroom contains two single beds and is also a comfortable size. You can chill on the sofa if you feel like withdrawing. Two built-in cupboards and a chest of drawers make storage easy. The country-style kitchen with butler sink is spacious, very well equipped and is a great place to enjoy a meal and chat around the big central table. At the back of the house is a cosy bathroom with WC, large shower and separate bath. Towels are provided. Guest access All guests have access to private parking in our drive and our large garden.
