Sorry no cats…no Our lofts are actually the size of a one bedroom apartment! Very roomy and comfortable for one night or extended stay. Each consist of a large bedroom that opens onto a deck , a bath, living room with a sofa sleeper and kitchenette with a dining table. Bedrooms have a comfy queen bed and living room has a sofa bed. We are located in the heart of Amish country and guests often enjoy the space with the windows open so they can hear the horse and buggies as the Amish go about their daily routines. Our rooms are air conditioned, flat screen tvs with cable and kitchenettes are equipped with dishes, coffee maker, fridge, microwave and toaster oven. Each loft has a deck off the bedroom furnished with patio table and chairs. We have free wifi available for guests to enjoy. We are very laid back around here :). Check in is simple and easy. Your reservation packet is picked up in our guest mailbox. It has all the info you need for your stay with us. This is very much up to the guest. We live on the property, so often we run into guest as we sit on the porch for a cup of coffee or cold drink. But some guests come and go and we never see them. Towels, extra TP, paper towels etc are available in the suites so guest can get what they need, but we are available if you have any needs. We are located in one of the purest parts of the country. Our property is in a central location, just outside the small township of Berlin. We are just a mile from Berlin and two miles from Charm, five miles from Millersburg and dozen of other quaint towns and auction sites. The property sits on 3.5 acres and our lofts open onto a deck area with a view of the rolling hills on our property. It's a great place for you enjoy the beautiful sunsets and lighting bugs as they dance over the hillside. Some things you will see in our area are pristine yards, beautiful flowers and gardens, clothes hanging on the line, children playing barefoot and men, women and children working in the fields. There are auctions almost every weekend and plenty of family operated, Amish road side markets and fabulous Amish bakeries. Holmes County is full of natural beauty but is also a great place to bike, hunt, go antique shopping, there are amazing county roads for riding motorcycles and flea markets galore! We are very close to a Rails to Trails entrance. Rails to Trails are miles of old train tracks that have been converted to bike paths, walking trails, and the Amish use it for horse and buggies as well. We offer covered parking for motorcycles and we are pet friendly. Millers' Bakery is literally mins for our place. Its Amish owned, so you will choose your favorite pastry by gas lamps. They bake donuts, cinnamon rolls, cheese tarts, fried pies and homemade breads fresh daily. You can take it with you or enjoy it there with a free cup of coffee. Hershberger's Truck Patch, is 1/4 mile from the property and is one of the areas biggest attractions. They offer seasonal produce, a bakery, local made syrups and cheese. Guggisberg Cheese, just a mile or so up the road. from the site. They have a large selection of local and international cheeses made right at the site. Theres also the Guggisberg Swiss Chalet which is one of the few places open on Sunday in the area. They have a great buffet on Sunday and the chef usually has really nice local dishes. There is plenty of shopping in Berlin and the surrounding areas. From hunting clothes, motorcycle paraphernalia, seasonal garb, housewares and Amish made gifts. Christmas shopping in Holmes County is a popular outing for the big cities around us. There's also the largest selection of boots and shoes I've ever seen at Charm Harness and Boot. Bicycles and horse and buggies are prevalent so please be mindful when driving a vehicle over the scenic roads of the area. We love well behaved pets, dogs, and welcome them to our place. No cats, birds or other animals other than dogs are allowed for any reason. There is a $20 extra charge per pet per night. And of course you will be responsible for any damages. This fee will be charged on location. Please message me that you have pets, breed and number. Pets should be crated when left alone in the apartment. Pets are not allowed on furniture. Any animals not disclosed before arrival are subject to $250 charge. Service animals must be disclosed before stay as well. Smoking of any kind in unit will result in a $250 charge. Smoking is allowed away from building. No marijuana allowed on the property. Airbnb requires us to collect in taxes on property. Happy traveling!
