Casuarina Cottage - walk to town - Mountain Views.

Casuarina Cottage is a cosy space & suitable for no more than 4 guests. There are 2 bedrooms. The main bedroom has a queen bed & the smaller 2nd bedroom has a double bed. It has a large, spacious deck with a wonderful view of the Dorrigo Escarpment. It's situated in a quiet & peaceful area yet close to everything. A 5-minute walk takes you to a well-stocked corner shop & cafe. 10 mins further you're at the Bellinger River where you can picnic & swim. 5 mins on & you're in the centre of town. The space The cottage is well maintained and clean with a well-equipped kitchen. It has a relaxing bush garden providing shade and privacy as well as attracting birds to feed. Panoramic views of the Dorrigo Escarpment towards the west can be seen from the kitchen and deck. This spacious deck is closed in on one end to provide protection from the weather and privacy from the neighbours. There are 2 lounge and eating areas. One inside and the other on the deck. From the quiet and peaceful deck, you'll find the perfect place for viewing the many birds that fly among the surrounding trees. The Eastern Deck at the front entrance is a cool place to sit late afternoon, in summer. The kitchen is well equipped (replace any accidental breakages, thanks!) and has functional basic equipment which includes a gas cooktop and oven, fridge, toaster, electric jug, microwave, etc. We use cotton sheets on the beds and supply soft cotton towels for guest use. Please note that we no longer supply breakfast foods. Guest access When you stay at Casuarina Cottage you have the whole house to yourselves. This includes a carport underneath the cottage together with a grassed park like backyard. Other things to note There is no internet at the cottage though if you can use your phone as a 'hotspot' reception is good most of the time. Otherwise, there is free internet access at the Bellingen Gelato Bar at the top end of town, Hearthfire Bakery, or the Bellingen Library. Registration Details PID-STRA-13365
