The Couples Lakehouse

2 bedroom cottage on Roblin Lake - in the heart of Prince Edward County, offers couples an inviting space to relax after visiting wineries, the beach and seeing all that the County has to offer. (Children over 12 only for safety reasons). The space The Couples Lakehouse is a licenced and owner managed 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom waterfront cottage on Roblin Lake - open year round. No hidden or additional fees. There is a public beach, park, baseball diamond and boat launch at the West end of the lake (just a few minutes away by bicycle or car). An Ontario Parks parking pass (Includes Sandbanks, North Beach, Presquile Park etc.) is provided for to enjoy the best beaches in Ontario! Upon entering into the cottage, you will find a fully equipped bright kitchen that is open to the living room. Off of the main room there is a 4 piece bathroom and 2 bedrooms. The main bedroom has a queen bed and the second has a double bed. Both bedrooms have a ceiling fan and light darkening curtains for the mornings you would like to sleep in. If you are an early riser, you may just catch one of many beautiful sunrises. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle, pots, pans, Keurig coffee maker, dishes, utensils, salt, pepper, foil, saran wrap, sugar, individual ketchup, mustard, wine and beer glasses. The living room offers a cozy couch with a bench beside the window to curl up and read a book or watch a movie while taking in the gorgeous view of the lake. The 40" Smart TV is equipped with Netflix, Youtube and a DVD player (Some DVD's supplied). You will also find a bluetooth speaker, games, puzzles, books and a charging station for your electronics. *Wifi is included but the internet is limited. No gaming allowed. In the summer- A/C is provided in the main area and cools the entire house but it is not central. In the winter - a propane stove is provided in the main area but it is not central. Ironing board, iron, hair dryer, bed and bathroom linens, beach towels and Manuka Honey toiletries are provided for your convenience. (We have supplied 2 umbrellas but hopefully you won't need them). Outside you will find a large deck with 4 Muskoka chairs, a dining table for 4 with an umbrella, a propane BBQ and a cozy swing chair. Follow the rock path down through the gardens to 2 sandy beach-like landings overlooking the water. There is a firepit and 4 more Muskoka chairs. (Firewood is not included but can be purchased at many different locations along your way). There are neighbours on both sides but the property is very private. The water access is easy - by concrete steps between the two sand landings. The lake is great for swimming and is a bit rocky and silty. We recommend wearing water shoes. Maximum 4 people during the summer months and maximum 2 people between September 1 and April 30, no pets allowed (any size) and no children under 12. No smoking or vaping indoors. No parties. **PLEASE NOTE THERE IS 1 OUTDOOR SECURITY CAMERA** This property is located in a convenient location. 20 minute drive to Belleville and Wellington (Wineries, groceries, restaurants etc). 25-30 minute drive to Picton and Sandbanks Provincial Park.
