The Legacy Farmhaus near College Station

Thirty minutes southeast of Kyle Field, Legacy Farmhouse is a completely renovated 100+ year old farmhouse. Located on almost 200 acres, the property is Ideal for graduation, football games, showers or girl-friend weekends. Hike through the woods (recommend wearing some sort of boot); bring your fishing pole and go fishing in one of three ponds; sit on the front porch swing and listen to the birds and watch the cows. Let your memories become part of the Legacy. The space We urge you to hike through the woods and explore. At this time we do not have a golf cart or ATV on the premises. You are welcome to bring your own golf cart/ATV (no dirt bikes or motorcycles because of the livestock). You may want to call Aggieland Golf Cars at about renting a golf cart. A patio complete with fire pit is now part of The Legacy. Additional air conditioning units (mini-splits) have also been added to the upstairs for added comfort for our guests. Guest access Guests will have access to the whole house and the farm. Please note, this is a working farm and there may be people on the premises taking care of cattle. When you do go exploring, please make sure all gates are securely closed so as not to allow livestock to enter the yard. Other things to note PLEASE NOTE: THERE ARE THREE SECURITY CAMERAS LOCATED ON THE OUTSIDE PERIMETER OF THE HOUSE. We ask that NO TOBACCO products of any kind be used on the property and that ALL FOOD AND BEVEREAGES REMAIN IN THE KITCHEN/DINING AREA OR OUTSIDE. We do have central air conditioning but when the outside temperature is warm, the upstairs will be warmer. Therefore, each upstairs bedroom has its own mini-split a/c with its own remote thermostat. PLEASE TURN OFF THE UPSTAIRS A/C UNITS WHEN YOUR VISIT IS COMPLETE. When leaving at the end of your visit, please gather all trash and deposit in the dumpster located at the front gate. There is a garbage disposal (silver button next to kitchen faucet) but PLEASE do not put paper towels, grease or other foreign objects down the disposal. The fireplace is not a working fireplace but does contain an electric log unit that blows warm air. A washer and dryer is located in the utility room that are free for guests. Detergent is also provided. Please do not leave water standing in the dishwasher. Two of the showers are large "walk-in" showers. The television is a "smart" t.v.; U-Tube t.v. provides live and other cable channels. Amazon Prime is included with the t.v. We request that any food/beverage you bring to the house and is not consumed, leaves with you. Please NO leftovers of any kind. We also ask that all food and beverage remain in the kitchen/dining area or outside. PLEASE RETURN ALL BLUE OUTDOOR LOUNGE CHAIRS TO THE WELL HOUSE WHEN LEAVING. OCCASIONAL HIGH WINDS WILL BLOW THEM AROUND THE PROPERTY WITH THE POTENTIAL OF THE CATTLE DESTROYING THEM.
