Our cozy bunkhouse is a perfect stop on your trip through the West. We are only a few miles from the Big Horn National Forest and is only 2 hours 15 mins from Yellowstone National Park. FELLOW HOST? Ask me about host exchanging! I have done this and it was a great experience. ACCESSIBILITY - the bunkhouse is behind the main cabin where I live. The path to the bunkhouse is uneven/grass and there are 3 steps onto the porch. The space inside is tight and the doors are the standard house size. There is a small cot style couch that could be set up for a child or small adult for an extra fee. Full bathroom with shower, limited kitchen with mini fridge and coffee/tea station. SUMMER AVAILABILITY ONLY! We are in the heart of Shell - within a very short walk from the Shell Bar and the Old Shell Store. Check their social accounts for current hours, menu etc as these change periodically. If you don't plan on eating out at one of them, you can drive up to Bear Lodge in the Bighorns, or to Greybull (14 miles). Guest access Private porch with swing (a favorite spot for our guests!) As you may know, the West is hurting for water. But the water we have is GREAT tasting and so pure, so please drink it from the tap and don't bother with all those plastic water bottles. We recycle as best we can but only aluminum is recycled in our area. Please separate the cans and leave them on the counter. Glass does not recycle in our area :(
