The house was built with an open concept design, so that guests can enjoy being together, cooking, or playing games. There are 2 full size bedrooms, with queen beds, as well as 2 full bathrooms. Plenty of room on the outside deck for outdoor living and dining. The covered hot tub is available for the guests to enjoy, which sits between the rental house and the owner's home. The hot tub has privacy curtains and is shared by the homeowners. Towels and robes provided. House is fully equipped. Plenty of parking for a couple of vehicles and space to store bikes if needed. Our guests are given lots of privacy, yet we're available if there are any questions about the house or things to do in Leavenworth and the area. The homeowners live on the premises in the main house. The house is located across the street from the Leavenworth Fish Hatchery and Icicle Ridge trailhead. A quick walk down the road is Sleeping Lady resort for morning coffee, lunch, or an evening cocktail, while enjoying being in the beautiful area of the Cascades. Just 2 miles away from Front Street for lots of shopping and dining. There is plenty of parking for our guests. You will like having a car to get around but, on occasion, guests even take the Amtrak train into Leavenworth. Please note that Leavenworth does have a taxi/shuttle service, but Uber is not usually an option Bring your bikes - there are lots of riding options, from trails to the wide shoulder on Icicle Road. **************************************************************************** Leavenworth is located in a mountain town, which means from November to March, expect the chance of winter driving in snow and other winter weather. Plan accordingly with a 4x4 or All Wheel Drive vehicle. A great site to watch is WSDOT for the traveling conditions. Keep the above in mind when booking during the winter months *************************************************************************************** Cancellations are only accepted when both local mountain passes are closed at the same time for over 6 hours.
