The space This beautifully preserved historic farmhouse provides an ideal getaway for families and friends looking to unwind in a peaceful setting, close to Amagansett village yet away from the crowds. The kitchen has new appliances, including a brand new dishwasher. You will find marble countertops, an original farmhouse sink, and an antique English Baker’s table equipped with cooking necessities. The ground floor bedroom is en suite with an original clawfoot tub. In addition to a living and dining room, there is a wraparound glassed-in dining porch with adjacent seating areas that overlook the heated pool. Upstairs are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The primary bedroom is en suite with marble tiling and walk-in closet. The second bedroom comfortably sleeps two. The third bedroom has two single beds. If needed, our housekeeper can transform the two single beds into a king-sized bed with advance notice. All bedrooms have ample closet space. There is a separate laundry room that guests are welcome to use. All of the plumbing fixtures in the house are original or have been updated with Waterworks. There is a central heating and cooling system. The heated gunite pool is beautifully maintained and serviced weekly. There are ample chaise loungers by the pool along with an outdoor dining table. Guests are welcome to use the Weber propane grill. The beloved private outdoor shower is covered with hydrangea. Parking is available for 3 cars. Pets are welcomed with an additional pet fee. The house is located a 10-minute walk from the Amagansett LIRR train station, 15 minutes from the Hampton Jitney, and 20 minutes from Amagansett Square where you’ll find ample restaurants. It is one mile from Atlantic Beach and Fresh Pond, both of which are walkable or a 5-minute drive. Amber Waves Farm, in walking distance, and Vicki’s Vegetables, a short drive away, provide delicious local produce. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the full property, including the pool.
