Peaks Island is the ideal get away. 20 minutes from downtown Portland by Ferry, you have the peace of a Maine island with both sandy beaches & craggy shore while the ammenities of a cool city with great dining and culture is minutes away. Cottage is filled with Maine charm and in easy walking/biking distance of all Peaks has to offer. A stocked kitchen, spaces for outdoor dining, an outdoor shower and an amazing wrap around porch promise all of the ingredients for a perfect island getaway. Other things to note Guests must provide their own sheets and bath and beach towels. All beds have pillows, mattress pad cover and coverlet or light quilt. Kitchen towels are provided. The island requires use of special city garbage bags. One large will be provided. Trash in sealed green can and recycling must be placed on the street in front of the house early on Monday morning.
