Relax, take a deep breath and imagine the following: It's a lazy and bright summer afternoon at Villa Sol Nascente. It was an excellent family lunch on the kitchen terrace. Your friends went for a walk and took their children. There is a faint odour of sea air and green fig leaves in the air… or could it be… mmm, almonds? You are comfortably seated in the shade, on the terrace of the living room, with a glass of your favourite drink lying on the table within reach of your hand. You remember your child's summer vacation time when you hear the joyful voices of your children playing downstairs with your spouse in your private pool. Beside you, is your youngest son sleeping soundly. Surrounded by the relaxing sound of sparrows and swallows, they flutter and dance with the gentle breeze that makes the Algarvian almond trees sway around lightly. Nothing can be heard except, from time to time, the relieving faraway buzzing of the regional train passing, slowly, like time, along the large white sand beach. You reach out and take a sip of your refreshing drink. In front of you, not far away, is a breathtaking view of the verdant Algarve landscape and the great stretch of golden sand and blue sea of Meia Praia. Where the waters of the Mediterranean meddle with those of the great Atlantic. You observe the long horizon and imagine how it would have once been, the ancient Portuguese sailors leaving Lagos to discover the unknown. It was right there in the same place you are looking at. You remember you have Wi-Fi and you can do a search on your smartphone on the topic ... -Naaa, not now. I'll watch a small video at night on YouTube or on television. As far as your view reaches, a 10-minute drive will take you to the right, to the historic city of Lagos and the stunning Ponta da Piedade. The 'Costa d'Oiro'. I read it's called that way. You decide that the next day, around noon, when the sun sinks in the ocean and reflects all its beauty, you must go to visit the breathtaking views and beaches of transparent water that you have been so enthusiastically recommended. Yes, Ponta da Piedade! Maybe I´ll be there sooner and lunch on little and beautiful Camilo Beach, who knows? Perhaps I'll rent a kayak trip before lunch for the family and go by sea to visit the caves on the golden cliffs of the area. Your son woke up, you take the last sip of your drink and decide to get up. You hesitate to swim in the pool or go for a 7-minute walk and refresh your feet in the saltwater of Meia Praia.
