Loch Ness Holiday Home with Stunning Loch Views

We hope you will enjoy our spacious Highland haven, privately perched high above Loch Ness (the expansive loch views are perfect for Nessie spotting) in the idyllic hamlet of Abriachan on the Great Glen Way, with its community-owned forest and quiet, single track roads. Just 15 mins drive from the city of Inverness, with its many shops, bars and restaurants, you are also within easy reach of many beautiful beaches and mountains, snow sports in Aviemore, the spa town of Strathpeffer and more… The space Our house sits in its own 2 acres of grounds with 11 acres of fields to the front and wide, open views out onto Loch Ness. There is plenty of space in the garden and you can walk out into the fields or up onto the adjoining hills. Often, we are lucky enough to be visited by some local deer. The house itself is a rustic style converted byre, with all the quirks and imperfections that can go with these old buildings. _________________________________________________________ DOWNSTAIRS – accommodation comprises: • Large L-shaped kitchen with oil-fired range, fan-assisted oven, large American-style fridge-freezer with ice and water dispenser, powerful microwave, toaster, coffee machine, etc. • Utility Room/entrance vestibule with washing machine and oil-fired boiler. • Spacious Hallway/Office space with large oak desk and chair, leading to downstairs Shower/Toilet. • 24 foot Lounge with large Smart TV, fireplace, satellite tv, piano and seating for 8 people. _________________________________________________________ UPSTAIRS – accommodation comprises: • Master Bedroom – good sized room with Super King double bed, wardrobes and fitness cycle. • Bathroom with whirlpool bath with shower, washbasin and w.c., etc • Bedroom 2 – large room with double bed and sofa. • Bedroom 3 – medium room with two single beds. Guest access You will have access to the whole house with the exception of a locked airing cupboard and a couple of small cupboards in the house. We are not currently living in the area so will not be there to greet you but there is a key safe by the door, to which you will be given the combination, to let yourself into the house. There will also be a detailed booklet to tell you everything you need to know about the house and our changeover lady lives locally should there be any problem. Guests are welcome to use our free wifi – we have recently upgraded to a superfast wireless solution, easily suitable for streaming, etc. Other things to note Although we allow pets, we would ask that you do not let your pets on the furniture and you clean up after them. Also the garden is a wild rural garden and we do have wildlife wondering in - deer, sheep, pine martens, foxes, we've even had a horse visit us, and they may leave their droppings behind. I wouldn't want you to be disappointed if you were expecting a manicured lawn. Also, all bedding and towels are provided. Registration Details HI-51252-F
