Lovely walks. 5-10 minutes drive from numerous beautiful beaches on the South Coast (Praa Sands, Perranuthnoe, Marazion, Prussia Cove). Walking, mountain-biking, wildlife and bird-watching from the doorstep. Bbq, chiminea. Picturesque St Michaels Mount at Marazion, secluded beaches at Prussia Cove. Choughs and Peregrines at Rinsey Head and seals at Godrevy. 15 minutes to the golden Sands at Hayle and St Ives. The space PLEASE NOTE: LITTLE CROFTY IS LITTLE! THE BEDROOM AND SHOWER ROOM ARE IN THE EAVES OF THE HOUSE SO THERE IS RESTRICTED HEADROOM HERE. AS IT IS A SMALL SPACE, THE DOOR IS NARROWER AND LOWER THAN STANDARD SO MAY NOT SUIT EVERYONE. LITTLE CROFTY IS LITTLE! PLEASE NOTE: Little Crofty is located in the middle of beautiful countryside REACHED VIA AN UNPAVED, BUMPY, COUNTRY TRACK! The track is NOT suitable for low cars, sports cars or cars with modified, lowered suspension. It is fine for 'normal' cars driving slowly. It is best to use the directions on the listing - SatNav may get you here but doesn't always! The apartment is light and spacious, with a pretty patio garden outside to sunbathe or eat al fresco. The garden holds a bbq, chiminea, table and chairs, and sun loungers. Your welcome package will contain everyday groceries. There is one bedroom with a double bed, shower room and a cosy lounge. The pleasant nearby village of Goldsithney has two charming pubs, a local store and Post Office. Little Crofty is small but perfectly formed and is a lovely base for a relaxing stay. Please note: As Little Crofty was originally part of the main house and has been converted into a self-contained unit, it shares an adjoining wall with our house. You may occasionally hear minimal noise from our side. Guest access Cosy, self-contained, studio suite, perfect for couples, nestled in the hills in West Cornwall in a very rural spot surrounded by nature. Little Crofty has a private, outside patio area with bbq, chiminea, table and chairs, and sun loungers. Please note restricted headroom and space upstairs. You are free to walk from the doorstep and explore the ponds, byways and bridleways surrounding Little Crofty. Ideal for beachgoers, walkers, nature-lovers and bird watchers. Little Crofty is in a magical, idyllic place. The air is clean and the lack of light pollution mean that on a clear night the stars are simply stunning. It is in the middle of the countryside up a leafy, rural, unpaved track but near enough to the village and the beach not to feel isolated. You will need a car to get around the area. Little Crofty has its own (free) parking space. Other things to note 1. PLEASE NOTE: Little Crofty is approx. third of a mile up an unpaved, bumpy, rural track. It is not suitable for low cars, sports cars or those with modified/lowered suspension but is fine for 'normal' cars driving slowly. 2. PLEASE NOTE: There is restricted headroom in the bedroom and shower room. It is just over 6' in the middle but slopes down at either side. The door to the shower room and toilet is narrower and lower than standard. The shower has a seat installed to cater for the restricted headroom. 3. Dogs must be kept downstairs and off the furnishings. They must not be left alone in the property under any circumstances. Please bring own pet bedding, food bowls and old towels (the lanes can be muddy). 4. Little Crofty shares a wall with our house so you may occasionally hear minimal noise from our side 5. We have septic tank drainage so please do not put anything other than natural waste and a minimum of toilet paper down the toilet. Please where possible use eco-friendly washing and cleaning products. 6. There is no washing machine at Little Crofty but ask us if you are in need.
