Upper floor to the attic master bedroom with exposed lakeland stone walls and beams. A luxurious king size bed, large screen TV and large skylight for night time stargazing make this room the favorite! Due to its central location all the amenities of the village of Bowness are on your doorstep, as well as many excellent walks nearby which can be started direct from the cottage and allows you to take in the beautiful view points of Brantfell and Post Knott. Windermere (lake) is a short stroll downhill whereas Windermere village is a mile from the cottage.Excellent access to all the neighbouring villages too! As well as a National Park, the Lake District received worldwide recognition as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, something we are extremely proud of. Guest access Access to the whole cottage Other things to note We leave a detailed welcome folder within the cottage as well as instruction manuals for all amenities as well as ample tourist information. Parking permit for one car provided. There is a split landing at the top of staircase, handrail is in place. There is no handrail on staircase to attic bedroom. One small pet allowed. For hygiene purposes we request that pets are not left on furniture or upstairs to bedrooms at any point.
