No smokers allowed. This main floor sunny, deluxe queen bed room is in our Craftsman Proctor District home, Tacoma's premier urban village. Try our home gym, enjoy solarium and fenced garden and patios. Hearty cont. breakfasts daily & full sit-down Sunday. The near shared bath, has a lg claw foot tub/shower. Walk 3 blocks to fine dining/entertainment, 1 mi. to UPS campus. Please tell us your ETA between 4 - 9pm. Expect a $25 USD, upon entry, for early or late arrivals, if we can accommodate. The space Our home reflects our colorful, eclectic and unpretentious, Seattle-native style. We enjoy function and fashion from turn of the 20th century to current tech advances that provided comfort and beauty. We have many common spaces to augment our four guest rooms. We take pride in providing daily hearty continental breakfasts, good, freshly ground coffee, a huge tea selection of black and herbal teas, apple cider or hot cocoa. We always have fresh fruit on hand and flavored and/or plain yogurt to round out the meal. On Sundays, enjoy reading the Sunday News Tribune with a full hot breakfast. Please let us know if you’ll join us or prefer a great restaurant for brunch. There are many nearby in Proctor and 6th Ave. The Studio guests are welcome to join in for breakfast, however, teas and coffee are also available in this private space. Our amazing indoor-outdoor hypoallergenic cat, Tawnee welcomes all our guests; is friendly, but not obnoxious and loves all ages. Wi-Fi is available throughout the home. Common spaces include the theater room with 10-foot movie screen, karaoke (if other guests don't mind), solarium, gazebo, fully fenced backyard garden with ping pong room. Park in our one off-street space (1st come basis), or and on our sides of the streets. Guest access A unique key code is provided when you (and your companion arrive). During your stay We are very respectful of your time and privacy. We take our interaction level from your cues. We enjoy the uniqueness of each person and are happy to accommodate whatever level of interaction you need or want. We have varying outside work and social obligations, so we can be reached by phone if our help is needed. Other things to note We are knowledgeable Seattle natives; happy to help you plan your trip, make arrangements and point you in the right direction to suit your taste. There is something for every age group from toddlers to elders. University of Puget Sound is less than 1 mile. The Ruston Way waterfront is a convenient 1.5 miles and we are in a sweet spot being half-way between the Tacoma Dome and Point Defiance Park. There is a wealth of cultural offerings, outdoor activities and leisure-time choices in our Pacific NW. We recently completed our garden and patio expansion and it is ready for events, on a case by case basis, for up to 60 people. BBQ, fire pit, outdoor speakers, tables and enough chairs to seat 30 comfortably. Gazebo, grape and vine arbors, large umbrellas and more. Let us know if you have a special event coming up.
