Achnasmeorach House enjoys an exceptional loch side position with its own private shoreline, jetty, boathouse, slipway, Games Cabin and 7 seater hot tub and all within walking distance of Kilchrenan Inn, one of Scotland's best gastro pubs. This Victorian house (1879) is furnished to an extremely high standard. With plenty of living space, a wonderful large garden and a unique location, it is perfect for special occasions, memorable family gatherings and short breaks for groups of friends. The space Achnasmeorach House is quite unique in that not only is it our family holiday home which we have owned for over 25 years now, it is also finished to an exacting standard, and is situated on the shores of and overlooking Scotland’s longest loch, Loch Awe - 27 miles long. It is also within 15 minutes walk of one of Scotland’s best gastro pubs, Kilchrenan Inn run by one of the UK’s most up and coming chefs, serving only locally sourced produce. This is very much a home from home, with lots of space for everyone; 3 large public rooms plus an open plan kitchen/dining room which seats 12, plus every conceivable appliance and mod con that you would ever want for a week or more’s family holiday, friend's gathering, long weekend or short stay. No matter how long you book for, you will wish that you'd booked for longer. Guest access Guests will enjoy unfettered and exclusive use of the 6 acre garden including; the entire house, games cabin (pool table, darts, table football, 75 inch LED TV, full WiFi and CD juke box, croquet set, space invaders console) Boat Shed (including canoes, kayak and 4 SUP boards and life jackets to suit all sizes), garden with football goals, Jetty and decking, 2 x Gas BBQ's and a new 7 seater Hotspring hot tub. Plenty parking on site Other things to note Two of the double beds (Bedrooms 2 and 3 which are at the rear of the house) split into twin beds. All beds are hotel quality beds by Hypnos (by Royal appointment) and have hotel quality, 300 thread count bed linen and top end new pillows. The house is within 15 minutes walk of one of the best gastro pubs on the west coast of Scotland, Kilchrenan Inn, serving top quality gastro pub food made with only locally sourced produce.
