Enjoy your terrace and swimming pool! This main villa has 2 spacious bedrooms with queen-size beds and 2 en-suite semi-open modern bathrooms. An intimate sun terrace next to the large swimming pool with 6 luxury loungers – in the shade of frangipani foliage – gives you the opportunity to fully enjoy this place. A first-class gourmet kitchen with every conceivable equipment is at your disposal, including an Australian BBQ! On the grounds of the villa you find beside the swimming pool (of 4.5 x 8.5 sqm, standing height of 1 mtr to 2.4 mtr) something special: A Bali Lumbung. This is a wooden house on stilts with an air-conditioned bedroom and en-suite bathroom, suitable for 2 guest who can who can sleep in this special and intimate place. All rooms – including the room in the Lumbung – are decorated with (antique) sculptures, paintings and special textiles. Also you find the most beautiful corals and (very large) shells, presented in the various rooms and on the outside terrace. A collection that has been collected by the owner in recent years along the coasts of Bali and the other islands of Indonesia. The villa is located in Lovina Beach with the Bali Sea right at your doorstep! From the garden -which is surrounded by palm trees- you have direct access to the quiet black sandy beach. The beach is cleaned daily and is probably the cleanest beach in this area! Most of the interior of Villa Kamboja is tailor-made by local craftsmen. A so-called Bali door, richly decorated and manually carved, serves as the entrance to the villa. The mahogany furniture but also the gourmet kitchen is made to measure and has German Tecnogas – high quality – appliances, granite counters and an Australian Barbecue. Guest access Transfer: The nearest airport is “Ngurah Rai” in Denpasar, a modern international airport. We can arrange a car transfer from the airport to get to the villa. We can arrange a driver and airconditioned car for you preferably with the booking, or a couple of days before your arrival. With our spacious, air-conditioned van, we take care of your transfer from and to the airport (surcharge). We are also happy to provide our car with driver for your excursions (surcharge). The villa is completely private and guests have access to all this privacy and luxury the villa has to offer. The staff team of the villa exists of nice and kind people. As guest you have private staff for the villa. There is a private security guard who watch over the villa at night, a gardener/pool-man, a freelance driver and a housekeeper who is also a great cook. She can cook both Indonesian and some western food. The staff have humour and do their very best to make you feel good so you can have an unforgettable stay. The private staff works six days a week, 8 hours a day. Ask the gardener for a fresh coconut and he will climb into one of the coco palms to pick one or two for you. Delicious! The staff costs are included in the rental rate, also the cooking of all meals is included, only the groceries for the food are for your own account. For your convenience, the staff can do all the groceries. You need to give them money in advance to go to the local market. Afterwards they will provide you with receipts. The staff will only charge you a small fee for the transportation (petrol) costs. Prices for food are affordable, the cost of living is still lower in this northern part of Bali. Other things to note Dolphin watching tours at Lovina Beach remain one of the main nature attractions of this quiet and laid back coastal town in North Bali. What this black sand beach lacks in features when compared to the beaches around the island’s south, it makes up for with its frequent sightings of dolphin pods that favour these calm waters. Back in the days, every sunrise, local fishermen in traditional outriggers set out for their daily catches in the bay, and so did the dolphins. This unique kinship between humans and dolphins developed over time – hunting pods led local fishermen to where schools of sardines and mackerels, and likewise, dolphins joined in for a frenzy following the cast nets. Occasionally, the cetaceans would breach the surface to check out on the action above. Fishermen now regularly take visitors for a dolphin watching ride to see their aquatic friends from.
