With over 200 x 5 star reviews, guests have loved our beautiful, spacious, characterful and cosy apartment, with its exposed wooden beams, log burning stove and a real home from home feel. Situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, the apartment has great views to Ingleborough and surrounding countryside and is only a short 10 min walk from the centre of Ingleton, with its famous waterfalls walk, caves, cafés, pubs and heated outdoor pool. Perfect base for the Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge. The space The apartment covers the whole of the top floor of this fantastic Victorian grand house. It has a wealth of exposed wooden beams and all the rooms are very large, but still cosy, especially with the log burner lit - giving it a country cottage and home from home feel but with more space (no banging your head!). Many guests have said the photos don't do the apartment justice. We keep the cost low so that charity three peaks walkers can afford to stay here - but please don't think the apartment is basic in any way compared to more expensive offers in the area. Its just much better value. The apartment is beautifully furnished and the living room has two large Tetrad sofas and a dining table that seats 8. There are 2 bedrooms. The master/family bedroom is huge and has a King size bed a full size single and its own living area with 2 sofas. The twin bedroom has 2 single beds and a cosy reading area. There is a great family size kitchen and bathroom. There are stunning views from all the windows and you can see over to Ingleborough and the surrounding countryside. Perfect for walkers or mountain bikers or those who just want to enjoy the views and wander into the village to the great pubs and cafés. This is a great base from which to tackle the Yorkshire Dales Three Peaks Challenge and many of our guests are having a go at that fantastic long walk. We are just outside the village of Ingleton, so a u is never very far away and for those who prefer the picturesque to the intrepid, the famous Waterfalls Walk from the village is very popular. The Lake District is just 30 minutes away and Kirkby Lonsdale and Settle just 15 minutes by car in each direction. The apartment has a TV, Wi-Fi, books and games if the weather is not suitable for going outside. The apartment is perfect for couples who like some space, families or small groups of friends. Please read the reviews to get a feel for how much our guests enjoy the space. Guest access Guests have the whole apartment (with its own private door) and have exclusive access to the whole apartment during their stay. This includes the large living/dining room, kitchen, bathroom and 2 bedrooms. Access is down a long shared drive off the A65 just outside Ingleton, set a long way back from the road. There are steps to the door and stairs to the apartment (not suitable for those with mobility difficulties). There is private parking for 2 cars but you can find free parking in the village of Ingleton (5 mins away) if you need more. Sorry but we don't accept pets. Other things to note This is a top floor apartment so there are steps - but also amazing views from every window! There are 2 bedrooms (king and single in one - two singles in the other.) Ideal for couples, families, walking groups. Not suitable as a party venue.
