Situated in an elevated position, just above the delightful village of Argegno, on the shores of Lake Como, breathtaking, panoramic views of Bellagio, Comacina Island and the 'Balbianello' promontory await you from the 120 meter private terrace. The space Our apartment can comfortably sleep 6 people. We've called it Villa Panoramica for a reason!! Located on the top floor of a small brand new house, built in the grounds of an 18th century villa, it is completely self contained and although only minutes walk to the village, is very secluded. Everything here is new, but fits in perfectly with the style of the houses built along the lake and in the mountains over the last centuries, with wood beam ceilings, Italian tiled floors throughout, teak beamed ceilings. Guest access The apartment has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one en suite) open plan kitchen and living area. You have a private parking space for a small car on the property and free parking on the road below the apartment. The terrace is for your own personal use and is furnished with dining table and chairs, swing chair and sofa. We also have a gas fired BBQ. Other things to note INFORMATION BOOK IN APARTMENT: In the apartment you will find a very helpful information book, giving you lots of information about the lake, lake transport, what you should see and do while you are here. In Tremezzo, just 20 minutes drive away, is the Villa carlotta with it's very important botanical gardens and in Lenno, the Villa Balbianello, I really recommend a visit there, ask me for details, as I am a qualified guide. the villa was used for lots of films, such as 'A month by the lake', Star wars, the return of the clones, and the latest, Casino Royale, Switzerland is just across the mountains and Lake Lugano, although very different, is very beautiful and offers walks and shopping. St. Moritz, the jet set resort is a few hours north of the lake and I can offer you the possibility to ride on the Bernina express train, across glaciers to enjoy breathtaking views.
