Other things to note The apartment is located in the attic (2 floors) of a well-kept 2 family house in a prime location and close to the lake in Schwerin. The house , built on the Krösnitz peninsula reaching into the Ostorfer See, combines quiet tranquility with village charm with very short distances to bus (approx. 4 min) and tram (approx. 5 min) , with which you can reach all destinations in the state capital Schwerin in a few minutes. You can also walk along the Ostorfer See and explore the Schwerin city center with its elaborately renovated historic center, with the theater, museums and the well-known castle as well as many good restaurants in about 15 minutes. Only about 100 m from the house there is a bike path through which many local and long-distance destinations can be reached by bike. Cycling hikes to the Schwerin surrounding beautiful lake landscape or to the Zippendorfer Strand, which is located on Lake Schwerin as one of the largest inland lakes in Germany. The wonderfully designed Schwerin Zoo is within walking distance in about 20 minutes and offers entertainment and surprises for adults and children in every season. The apartment with sloping ceilings has a floor area of 27.5 m². It has been newly equipped this year with appealing furniture and new kitchen with dish washer. The apartment is equipped in such a way that self-catering is easily possible. The apartment has a small shower room, fitted wardrobes and an anteroom which can be used to store luggage. If necessary, in consultation with the landlord, a washing machine and electric tumble dryer are also available in a separate room on the ground floor. Guests are welcome to end the day with a glass of wine on a small separate terrace at the house, which is protected from view, or have breakfast there. 2 bicycles (3-course shift) can be rented for a small fee. On the farm, the luggage can be unloaded and invited. Free parking spaces are very close. Since the stairs to the attic are quite steep, the apartment is rather not recommended for disabled guests
