The home has a very walkable location, being approximately two blocks from the downtown main street, where you'll find restaurants, a grocery store, drug stores, churches and various other shops, or you can take a stroll through the historic neighborhood admiring the various historic homes and the beautiful landscaping. The space This huge apartment has an elegant décor that is a mix of period and modern pieces, 13 ft. ceilings, gorgeous moldings, gas burning fireplace, wifi, and a 40" smart TV are just some of the amenities. The bedroom has a queen bed, and a day bed/single bed is located in the living room. If needed a queen air mattress with linens can be set up for extra guest. There's also a comfortable couch. As a bonus, this apartment has a beautiful heated/cooled sun room that overlooks the front garden, which can be a peaceful place to sit and read. You'll also find a fully equipped kitchen with basic utensils/pans/dishes to prepare a meal if you desire to do so. The bathroom has a spacious tiled shower with a seat, and a stackable washer/dryer if needed. Guest access Outside the apartment, guest have access to the front porch that has a swing, and a large deck with a patio set in the rear. Parking for multiple cars is in the rear and close to the entrance of the apartment. Other things to note If you are a nature lover and looking to do some walking, jogging, or even biking, Eufaula has a beautiful paved trail. Beginning downtown by the old depot/Chamber of Commerce, the trail extends for over 6 miles crossing over scenic Barbour Creek. Benches and points of interest are located along the way. Also within walking distance, Eufaula has two historic mansions, Fendall Hall and Shorter Mansion, open year round for touring.
