The first thing that strikes you are the huge patio doors, which dominate the villa's northern walls. The morning sun shines through glass, revealing the house's very high aesthetic - clean, crisp lines, simple colour palette and ingenious combination of wood, marble, metal, glass and steel. To reach the villa you must drive past the main gate of Theseus Beach Village and identify yourself, once this is not an ordinary place that just anyone can drive through. You'll need to go all the way down to the settlement's private beach and just before you've reached it, you're at the villa. Regardless of how many times I've been to this wonderful home, always, just before I put my key on the door, I turn around to feast my eyes on the endless blue, right in front of me. It'll amaze you. Villa Dimitra is a private, extremely peaceful home, situated on a beautiful hill, surrounded by luxurious houses and beautiful gardens, just 3 min walk away from the settlement's private beach and ab 20 min drive away from the international airport of Heraklion. Home sleeps 8 people and is built in three levels. There is an open space lounge - kitchen area, 4 bedrooms, 3 ½ bathrooms (two of them en suite), two spacious verandas for chilling out or sunbathing, free parking for 3 cars. Perfect for families, friends, and work retreats. On entering the villa you're at the middle level. Here you'll find: The Living area with - two comfortable couches - several ottomans and a big coffee table - your smart, satellite TV. Several channels from around the world are available at all times. Internet enabled with Netflix also available to login to your own account - WiFi throughout house - glass dinning table with 4 chairs - patio chairs, table and sun umbrella - a WC and the Kitchen with - high table w/ 4 stools - oven, range, full sized dishwasher, microwave oven, fridge, kettle, coffee machine and toaster - plenty of pots/pans/platters/forks/spoons/knives for large meals - fridge and pantry stocked with salt, pepper and some spices - also dishwasher and washing machine tablets, paper towels, sponges, wipes, and various other kitchen and bathroom utensils - outdoor electric grill and grilling tongs Up the stairs onto the upper lever you'll find: Two Large bedrooms with - en suite bathrooms - large queen beds and night tables - anatomic mattress - bed foot bench - big closet - patio doors that open out to large balconies with dazzling sea view From the middle level and down the stairs you'll go to the lower level where you'll find Two large bedrooms, each with: - two single beds - night tables - spacious closet A bathroom and - the washing machine and ironing area Outdoor areas include: - patio w/ shaded pergola and garden furniture (table, chairs) - safe, gated verandas for children to play safely - on site, private free parking for 3 cars Guest access Villa Dimitra is set up to welcome you, our guest.
