High quality Holiday Cottage centrally located in the heart of the picturesque village of Hartington, which is an ideal base from which to explore the Peak District National Park. The space The cottage is a 3 storey stone cottage, sleeping 6+1. Excellently situated for couples and families to occupy. We we also have our adjacent sister cottage, Beech Cottage, which also sleeps up to 7 guests. The cottage is fully equipped for your stay. Kitchen: Electric hob & oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, kettle, toaster, cooking utensils, iron/board. Lounge: flat screen TV with Freeview, BluRay DVD, log burning stove, leather settees. Bedrooms: duvets, bath/hand towels, hairdryer, travel cot & high chair. Bathroom: towels, complimentary toiletries. Exterior: private car parking space for 1 vehicle, garden furniture, BBQ, secure cycle storage, external lighting. Guest access Birch Cottage has 3 bedrooms, 1 king size room, I single room (which actually has a double bed but with access from one side only), and a family room with a king size bed and a single bed. There is a lounge, kitchen/diner, bathroom on the 1st floor, and an en-suite hand basin and WC in the family room on the 2nd floor. The lawn garden at the front has garden furniture and BBQ. A private off road car parking space is available for one car, with ample additional car parking available on the quiet adjacent road. Secure cycle storage is also available in a locked garage or shed. Other things to note Birch Cottage has an AA Self Catering 4* scoring an excellent rating. The cottage is fully heated throughout with oil central heating, the lounge also has a welcoming wood burning stove. An initial basket of logs is supplied, additional logs can be purchased direct from ourselves for £5 per basket. Central heating/electrc is included in the rental. The rental charge is from £526.00 per week off season to £792.00 peak season. We also offer 3 night short breaks starting at £396.00 to £480.00 (not available in peak season). In Peak Season the changeover day is a Saturday and the minimm stay if 7 nights.
