Geltsdale was built as a private house for the Mayor of Carlisle in 1904 in the village of Wetheral which is recognised as an unspoilt beauty spot. The village is built above the banks of the River Eden around a picturesque village green. The 3 bedroom first and second floor apartment has 3 en-suite bedrooms, private parking for 2 cars. With views over the countryside to the river beyond gaze out at the grazing deer who regularly visit the area. With its beautiful views over the Eden Valley, riverside walks and the Lake District, Scottish Borders and Hadrian’s Wall all within a half hour drive, Wetheral is an excellent holiday location. Geltsdale is in a tranquil setting surrounded by several acres of garden and woodland and enjoys views over the grounds and River Eden to the Castle Carrock Fells. Guest access Geltsdale East Wing is on the first and second floor, it has its own entrance to the first floor and is centrally heated throughout. Lounge enjoys open rural aspect with electric stove effect fire, Wi-Fi and TV. Kitchen/dining room with electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and dining table. Utility room with washer/dryer and freezer. Cloakroom with hand basin and WC. Master double bedroom with en-suite shower room. The second floor has a further double bedroom with en-suite bathroom.
