High View Haven - Ocean views, right by the beach

Welcome to High View Haven - A cute beach cottage in a bush setting with ocean views, only a stones throw from the beach. Set on a rustic bush block, High View Haven suits groups up to 11 people with 4 bedrooms including one self contained flat. There is a well equipped kitchen, outdoor BBQ, Pizza Oven and deck overlooking the ocean. Perfect for getaways with family or friends, designed with kids and pets in mind. The cottage is located in Surf Beach, NSW, which is 10 minutes from Bateman's Bay and is two minutes walk to Wimbie Beach. This beach is tranquil with small waves great for kids, supping, kayaking and snorkelling around the rocks. A short 10 min drive to Bateman's Bay. But you could put the car away with coffee shops, restaurants, supermarket and bottle shop all within an easy walk (10 minutes) within Surf Beach. Unfortunately, the house is not available to schoolies groups and noise restrictions are in place after 10:00pm The space The house is perfect for both small and large groups. The main part of the house, the upper level, includes three bedrooms (with comfy beds!), kitchen (including dishwasher and deluxe Nespresso machine), living area (including aircon/heating) and bathroom. It is 15 stairs from the carport to the front door of the main house via an external staircase. The lower level is a self contained unit with bedroom/living area with TV and bathroom/laundry and outdoor lounge and dining and BBQ. Perfect for those who want a little space to themselves. Pets are welcome inside (but not on the furniture) and can stay on the enclosed deck. Please note that there are no fences surrounding the property downstairs, but with the off-leash beach only 2 minutes away there’s plenty of space for activity. We designed the space to be suitable for kids. All the appliances have child locks and the bookcases are attached to the wall for safety. There is a highchair available and breakables are placed out of reach. There are games, Nintendo Wiis, books and toys available for the little ones too. Please note, there is no fenced backyard but there is a fenced area to the side of the property. Our guests love: - the view from the living are and deck - the neighbourhood and the proximity to Wimbie Beach; and - the styling and decor of the house. Some guests don’t love: - the noise restrictions after 10pm - we’re not for everyone and being respectful of our neighbours is very important to us; and - the unsealed driveway to the property. Other things to note The backyard is not fenced, however there is a secure fenced deck area for dogs. The two parts of the house are not connected internally. The main house is accessible via an external staircase. Please note, our listing appears on multiple booking platforms and our website. Each of the fee structures incorporates the relevant fees and charges associated with that platform. Consequently, you may see some variation across platforms. Noise restrictions are in place after 10pm. It is a quiet neighbourhood and sound really travels at night. Happy neighbours keep our business sustainable.
