At Vila Adentro we breathe in tranquility. The charming OLD TOWN house is located in Aljezur historical centre, this small magical town that still represents the authentic untouched Algarve. From the windows of the house we have beautiful views of the Moorish castle, the charming mix of cobbled streets and the whitewashed houses with the characteristic colorful trimming around the windows. The UNSPOILT BEACHES of Costa Vicentina and the best SURF SPOTS are just some minutes away. The space Vila Adentro is located on the edge of the old quarters of this centenary village in a very chilled place, with wild beaches, fantastic trails (straight on one of the BEST WALKING TRAILS IN EUROPE, "Rota Vicentina trail ") and lots of nature just around the corner. It is a charming old town restored house ideal for small families or couples. The beautiful traditional Portuguese tile flooring and its picturesque façade give the house a unique feel. If you seat outside or go for a walk around you can still witness and appreciate local traditions while waching the fields and plains that border the Aljezur river. In the morning, buy some fresh still-warm bread at the bakery and visit the Municipal Market, just 2 minutes away, where you can buy fresh fish and locally grown fruit and vegetables. Drive to one of the wonderful beaches just a few minutes by car. AMOREIRA is a favourite, with its wide dune area and an amazing estuarine-lagoon. At the end of the day sit at the deck outside and feel the peace of the Village while listening to the pleasant melody of the cowbells tinkle on the plains. After relaxing enjoy dining at one of the best restaurants in the area within walking distance. The variety is huge, from typical portuguese to italian, seafood or vegan, and the quality is amazing. Outside the village, it is difficult to decide which are the best places to visit: the interior or the coast. Nature trails, mountain bike rides and donkey or horseback riding through the hills are a fantastic opportunity to admire the fauna and flora of the surrounding area, while the Aljezur coast is a treasure full of beautiful, pristine and tranquil beaches and river valleys Nature, rurality, authenticity and a mild climate, tempered by more than 300 days of sunshine per year, make this region an unforgettable destination for nature lovers. The castle and museums can be reached on foot in few minutes. You will find everything you need in the immediate vicinity (ATMs, banks, post office, bakery, groceries, market, newsagent, bio products shop, etc.). Everything is easily reachable on foot. Please notice the house comprises two connecting bedrooms (1 double bed/2 single beds) as you can see in the house plant. The kitchen is equipped with full cooking utensils, cooker, toaster, kettle, microwave, fridge-freezer, coffee machine, orange juicer, hand blender cutlery and crockery. The house has TV, a wood burning stove perfect for winter days, books, a hair dryer and a washing machine. There is also a heating system in the bathroom. Linen, towels, and soap are provided. We do not provide beach towels. A baby cot is available upon request. Other things to note We provide firewood for the wood burning stove in winter time. Registration Details 55434/AL
