The house is located on the corner of Calle El Fresnillo. Despite being minimalist, it offers all modern facilities. Ground floor with large equipped and furnished kitchen/dining room with storage room with fridge, freezer and washing machine. The living room with a wood-burning stove and a double sofa bed, on the ground floor there is a toilet. First floor - Bathroom with shower, 1 bedroom double bed, 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds, double sofa bed in the living room. Rooftop/Terrace equipped with terrace furniture and barbecue. The space If you arrive by train or go down to the village on the MA512 mountain road, you will find a view that will remain etched in your mind. The river, a true paradise, can be seen at the bottom of the valley following its course through the mountains until it flows into the Mediterranean Sea. That's what the background of El Colmenar gives with the rolling green meadows and grazing animals. The village is tucked between the river and the Alcornocales National Park with its abundance of flora and fauna. It has been this cork oak forest that gives the main employment to its inhabitants, and its proximity by rail to the coast and the rest of the country. The pace of life has changed very little over the decades. The 3 restaurants serve traditional homemade food and are open from morning to night. You arrive at the house by strolling through narrow and sloping streets from the center of the village, a few minutes away. The river is a few minutes away with a river beach where the villagers gather to bathe and cool off after the siesta. Other things to note In the surroundings you can enjoy excellent hiking routes, either on foot, horseback or by bicycle, canyoning with prior reservation in a local company. In the Los Alcornocales Natural Park, which is adjacent to the village, you can also collect excellent quality mushrooms in the autumn/winter season.
