The Vogtshof is surrounded by a romantic, approx. 800 m² garden, in which the most beautiful roses bloom from spring to winter. The space The former Vogtshof of the monastery of St. George is the oldest residential building in the Rottweiler district of Bühlingen. It was first mentioned in 1380. It is believed that the Vogtshof, as the most important building in the village after the end of the 30-year war (1618-1648), in which all of Bühlingen burned down, was the first to be rebuilt. From 1983-87, the house was extensively and expertly restored, so that it now resembles its original condition. All rooms except the original farmhouse have underfloor heating. The original plank floor is still in the parlor, which is why radiators were installed here. The parlor also has a basic oven, which is fired from the kitchen and spreads a cozy warmth in winter. There is another basic oven in one of the bedrooms in the basement. A little longing for the Vogtshof is still there … Since the end of December 2015, we have been living on the monastery farm between Fischbach and Schabenhausen and run a small farm with horses, highland cattle, peacocks, turkeys, chickens, dogs and cats.
