The space With Enzian Lodge 194, Steinbock Lodges offers a charming terrace house with lawn, two double bedrooms, two bathrooms with shower, open plan living room with kitchen and dining area and pellet stove. The bedrooms are furnished with double beds, and the master bedroom also has its own shower room and toilet. The second bathroom has a shower cabin. Other things to note Your journey: The mountain road up to Enzingerboden at 1,500 metres above sea level is asphalted and kept well cleared in winter. Snow chains or an all-wheel drive vehicle are nevertheless extremely beneficial in the Alps during this time of year. When it comes to shopping, your best bet is to drive down into the valley to Uttendorf (only 17 km away) and you will find everything you need there! Leisure activities: Not far from the lodge is a reservoir but unfortunately swimming here is not permitted. In the valley, however, fun in the water galore awaits you in the bathing lake at Uttendorf – here you can swim and play in the water to your heart’s content! Children will have a ball in the children’s area with a slide, while adults can burn some energy and tire themselves out on the tennis court or try their hand at stand-up paddle boarding (SUP). Popular excursion destinations in the area are the Krimml Waterfalls – the highest waterfalls in Europe – as well as the Sigmund Thun Gorge, the perfect place for an easy but impressive and breathtaking hike through the gorge. In winter – only 500 m away from the chalet – the picturesque skiing area “Weissee Glacier World” awaits adventurers both young and old. Here, beginners and experienced downhill skiers alike will discover extensive pistes and ski tourers will be thrilled with the snow-covered Alps.
