Glencroft is a fairytale highland cottage built in 1894 and nestled in the historic village of Fortingall Aberfeldy, surrounded by the most breathtaking mountain scenery and spectacular highland wildlife. The cottage has been lovingly refurbished with great attention to detail with an emphasis on comfort and luxury for our guests, making Glencroft Cottage a truly memorable highland experience. The space There are two bedrooms upstairs, one twin and one double. Downstairs is a living room with open fire and a dining room with log burning stove. The kitchen/conservatory breakfast room is fully equipped with range style cooker, dishwasher microwave, Refrigerator and separate freezer and Nespresso coffee machine. There is a shower room with overhead drencher and secondary shower head. There is a toilet and wash basin and heated towel rail to complete. Glencroft Cottage is the perfect location for those looking to recharge their batteries and get back to nature, whether it’s a romantic weekend for two or simply together time with the family, Glencroft cottage is ideally placed for walking, cycling, canyoning, tennis, golf and water sports. Glencroft cottage is within walking distance to the Fortingall hotel, where you will find a fine dining restaurant with an additional bistro style eatery. Each Friday evening in the bar area of the hotel is a gathering of local talented musicians, making the Fortingall Hotel a fun destination. Aberfeldy village is only a 15 minute drive away where you will find cafe’s, restuarants, shops, supermarkets & a petrol station etc. Kenmore is an approximate 10 minute drive away where you can book the very chic Hot Box Sauna on the edge of Loch Tay which has the distinctive feel of an Austrian Wellness Retreat A great destination for a friends get together or an unusual venue for a special event or simply chill out with your partner.
