Gorgeous, bright, fully furnished 4 BR, plus a study, a detached 1-2 car garage, and a basement with a large finished room and washer/dryer. The neighborhood is one of the best in Detroit, and is close to major highways and shopping options. The space Bedrooms: Master: - King Bed with memory foam mattress, chaise, full dresser, and 2 closets - Master Bath with shower, sink, and built-in makeup table with lots of drawer/cabinet space - TV Guest Room: - Queen Bed with Airedale mattress, armchair, small TV and DVD player, makeup table, view onto backyard Kids Room: - contains a twin bed, the floor is "carpeted" in foam alphabet puzzle-pieces (also removable), and built-in book/toy shelves, set of drawers, and a changing table. - if you like, we can remove all the kid elements except for the bright beach-house blue wall color - exits to balcony Office/Backup Guest Room: - Built-in desk and bookshelves, additional bookshelf, TV with digital antenna for local channels - Convertible futon sofabed - very comfortable for sleeping, especially with foam "egg crate" padding placed on top Other Rooms: 2 full bathrooms: Master Bath with shower, and hallway guest bathroom with shower and bathtub 2 half bathrooms: 1 on ground floor, 1 in basement Downstairs Study: leather recliner, desk with small desk chair, built-in bookshelves Living Room: TV with Apple TV and digital antenna for local channels, large windows for plenty of light during the day, traditional sofabed, armchair, and large L sofa great for lounging, with additional table spaces scattered throughout Dining Room: antique table with leaf insert, seats 6 to 8 comfortably, antique Zenith radio cabinet (nonworking, currently), antique icebox and buffet for storage. Kitchen: Modern, stainless steel appliances in great shape - fridge with pullout bottom freezer (icemaker included), dishwasher, gas stove and conventional oven with optional convection setting, double basin sink with garbage disposal, kitchen aid mixer, microwave. Butler's Pantry: fully stocked cabinets with flatware and other equipment, small breakfast table with 2 chairs, coffee station with coffee maker, etc. Basement: large, carpeted, versatile, open room, with a wet bar (not gorgeous, but it's there), half bath, tool room, large furnace room with new Samsung HE washer & dryer, 3-basin utility sink, and clotheslines. Attic: large carpeted space with newly installed attic fan for cooling purposes. We use some of it for storage space. Not currently fit for large-scale use... we're working on it. Backyard: Large lawn space to play and party! Guest access No attic and no balcony off of kids' bedroom (both of these currently need work). Ok to open door to these spaces for ventilation, but please do not enter those spaces. There is also one closet in the Master Bedroom that will stay locked during your stay. This is just to keep our stuff that you won't need out of your way. Other things to note Pets are negotiable. We'd like to know a bit about your pet before we agree to you bringing him or her. We like animals, but just want to make sure you'll be able to keep the house clean and undamaged. This is an older house, and we have only been in it for a year. There have been a number of things to take care of, and we've had to prioritize, so there may be a few quirks here and there which don't meet your standards of a perfect, newly constructed house. Most of our guests, however, seem to find the house to be comfortable, spacious, beautiful, safe, and fun! Let us know if we can do anything to make your stay even better.
