From the terrace you can enjoy an incredible view down to the shimmering blue-green of the sea. A narrow stairway leads from here directly down to the sea, where there is a beautiful, stone-covered platform with boat mooring. Here you can swim undisturbed or enjoy the sun. Another path leads past the neighboring house directly to the idyllic pebble beach, which is not 50m away. From the terrace you can reach the house at ground level. There is an eat-in kitchen with fireplace, a bathroom with shower and 2 separate bedrooms with sea views. Another toilet is located on the outside of the house one level lower, so you do not need to walk unnecessarily wet through the house. Gasoline) INFO About The PLACE: The dreamlike idyllic, deeply cut Orlandusa bay lies in the southeast of the Dalmatian Adriatic island "Korcula" and is only accessible by a 3 km long gravel road, which in the last section at a height of about 100 m above sea level. On the sea side mountainside runs and opens fantastic views of the islands of Vis and Lastovo and then finally as a dead end in a small paradise to end. The idyll can be seen from afar. The bay, open to the southeast, is bordered by scrub-covered mountain slopes. The bay is adorned by a single pebble beach, only 60 m long and perhaps 20 m wide, from mountain slope to mountain slope. The sea shimmers in all imaginable shades of green and blue, thanks to the rocky seabed. From the beach opens inland a small plains that used to be intensively agricultural and today still offers a few olive groves and vineyards, after a few meters, partly ascending terraced, again in an even more powerful mountainside. In Orlandusa, there are only a handful of small, mostly single-storey summer cottages, often made of natural stone, mostly in the small plain behind the beach. Only 2 houses are cowering on the side, the bay enclosing slope. Another house is still a bit inland, also on the hillside. Thus, the village is already largely described. According to the locals, no more than 20 people stay on the beach even during the summer high season. In June and September there are even fewer. There is no restaurant, no coffee shop, no mom and pop shop and no bakery. There is no real electricity or even telephone connection. A generator generates 12v power here. If you do not want to do without small appliances like mobile phones, laptops and the like, you should not forget a suitable adapter. Who makes holiday here, is thus on its own, that should be easy to recognize. But the simple is sometimes the more beautiful. In the case of Orlandusa, definitely. The "civilization", however, is not far away. A proper infrastructure already exists in the village "Zrnovo" which is reached after 5 km. A good restaurant is even 3 km away. And the beautiful main town of the island "Korcula" is just 7 km away.
