The space ## Apartment in Pisogne’s historic centre, a short walk from Lake Iseo Located on the shores of Lake Iseo, in the heart of Pisogne’s medieval historic centre, this welcoming one-bedroom apartment offers approximately 70 m² of space and has recently been fully renovated. The apartment is situated on the ground floor, has a completely independent entrance and is easily accessible for guests with reduced mobility. It features independent heating, underfloor heating, an adjustable thermostat, air conditioning and custom-made furniture. Although the property is located in one of the oldest parts of the town, it has been carefully renovated to combine the charm of a historic building with modern comforts. Thanks to its thick traditional walls, its position and the recent renovation, the apartment remains pleasantly cool during the summer and warm and cosy throughout the winter. ## The accommodation The apartment includes: * a double bedroom located in a quiet area at the rear of the property; * a living room with a sofa that can be converted into two comfortable single beds; * an additional foldaway bed, when required; * a fully equipped kitchen; * a bathroom with shower. A television is available in the bedroom. A travel cot for children under five years old can also be provided free of charge upon request and placed next to the bed. Please note that cot bed linen is not included. ## Included amenities The kitchen is equipped with everything needed to prepare meals at home, including: * hob; * traditional oven; * refrigerator; * microwave oven; * espresso coffee machine; * cookware, tableware and essential kitchen utensils. The following are also included: * bed linen, blankets and towels; * toilet paper and soap; * hairdryer; * television; * free fibre-optic Wi-Fi available 24 hours a day; * independent heating and air conditioning. ## Location The apartment is situated in Pisogne’s medieval historic centre, on a mainly pedestrian street, approximately 150 metres from the lakefront. Bars, restaurants, pizzerias, tobacconists, local shops and all the main services can be found within a distance of approximately 10 to 200 metres. There is a café directly opposite the apartment, where guests can have breakfast or arrange to enjoy it in the apartment. We also have agreements with selected nearby cafés and restaurants. Further information will be provided after booking. Pisogne’s main square is approximately 300 metres away, while the town’s new beach can easily be reached on foot and is about 500 metres from the apartment. The shopping centre is approximately 700 metres away. The railway and bus stations are around a 10-minute walk from the property, while the pier for Lake Iseo boat services is approximately 300 metres away. From the pier, guests can enjoy boat trips and cruises across Lake Iseo and visit the picturesque towns located along the lake, including those on the Bergamo side. ## Access and parking Although the apartment is located in a mainly pedestrian area, guests may drive directly in front of the property to load or unload luggage. Several public parking areas, including free parking spaces, are available approximately 100-150 metres from the apartment. The lakefront can also be reached through the pedestrian underpass located beside the nearby public car park. ## Pisogne and the surrounding area Pisogne enjoys a beautiful location between the lake and the mountains and is well known for its natural scenery, charming historic centre and artistic heritage. The old town develops around the spacious Piazza del Mercato, which opens towards the lake and is overlooked by the Bishop’s Tower, the symbol of Pisogne. The long lakeside promenade offers beautiful views throughout the year. One of the main cultural attractions is the Church of Santa Maria della Neve, which houses remarkable 16th-century frescoes by the painter Girolamo Romanino. Several ski resorts and mountain destinations are also within easy driving distance: * Val Palot: approximately 12 km; * Montecampione: approximately 18 km; * Borno: approximately 28 km; * Ponte di Legno-Tonale: approximately 70 km. The treatment lasts about 2 hours, therefore the check-in and check-out times may be subject to slight delays and will be anticipated and postponed by the previous standards. The port to take the boat and visit the lake is a 5-minute walk from the house about 500 meters from the port you can reach anywhere in the lake, the nearest being Lovere to 10 minutes by boat.
